Crashing on loading (new) map or joining server on M1 Mac
Hello, whenever I try to load a map, create a new one or join a Server, the game crashes on my M1 MacBook. I already tried to completely remove the .minecraft folder and reinstall Fabric on 1.21. I am only using Sodium 0.6.0 and Disntant Horizons 2.2.0. Latest fabric version and MC 1.21.

Solution:
Somehow curseforge gave me 2.2.0 instead of 2.2.1. 2.2.1 fixed the issue for me.
[DH 2.1.2-a] Weird blur on LODs
I've got embedium and oculus but no shaders active, no clue why this is happening
(I'm using this version because the embedium devs have seemingly stopped developing the mod in favor of sodium 1.21.x forge versions)...
Extreme chunk loading when DH is enabled
Essentially when I enable DH, the server loaded chunks can reach up to 14000 at once. I have 8GB of ram installed with everything on the lowest settings.
Indium is installed, along with other optimisation mods.
When I break blocks, nothing drops and my ticks increase to over 10000ms....

other mod causing LOD slightly offset from world
i tested this with just the necessary mods and the issue doesnt exist, but in the remade and remastered modpack, the world is slightly disconnected from the LOD. this isnt a problem with distant horizons itself, so im just wondering if anyone knows which mods can cause this

Replay Mod assistance
Ive managed to get replay mod and distant horizons work together, though the issue that I am no facing is that the world is loaded from the perspective of the original player recording. So if I am trying to make a replay and move some distance from the original player character I am sitting inside lods. Is it somehow possible to have the lods load from the point of the camera? Or perhaps a setting of some kind that would do that.
Implement DH support on a shader that doesn't support it
Hi, i hust wanted to know how i could implement DH support on a shader that doesn't support it, is there a documentation somewhere to find it? I am not a shader dev but i know my way on programming so I want to try to implement it myself.
I tried to ask Chatgpt for help but i don't think it has enough knowledge of DH to help me and i couldn't find any documentation during my search of infos...

Rethinking Voxels lighting not being voxelized Minecraft 1.20.1
Hello beautiful people, I'm having an issue where the rethinking voxels shaderpack doesn't voxelize the lighting, looks just like other shaderpacks. I tried using the very high settings and high settings without noticeable changes.
Photon shaders not loading the terrain (vanilla Render Distance)
I am using Photon shaders and I don't have the option to see the whole terrain I set up in Distant Horizons. Also with other shaders where I can see the whole terrain configuration, just the vanilla Render Distance applies the shader effect. The rest is just shaderless.
Can't lauch the modpack whith distant horizon...

Not saving any data on a multiworld SMP
I'm playing on a SMP right now with multiple worlds and DH is not saving any chunks it seems. I set Multiverse similarity to 0.4 as the FAQ suggested but it doesn't work. Leaving it on 0 also doesn't work, even though it seems that that at least generated a folder in DH_server_data/(server name)
I really want it to work because my render distance is fixed on 6, pls help...

weird pattern for snow and ice
Is there any way to mitigate this or does anybody know what causes this, I thought it had something to do with a biome mod, but this is just a normal vanilla snowy plains biome, when I get closer to the biome it fixes it even if I fly back out of the vanilla render distance. I am playing in Singleplayer. I have a bit of a long mod list and I can go through and disable stuff to try and figure out what is causing it, but I just thought someone might already know what is happening.
