distant horizons isnt working on 1.21.1
hi so im playing on a world with my friend using e4mc, their distant horizon is working but mine isnt generating anything or working at all!

ive tried everything in this list
nothing is working
i have the mod installed, i see the button next to the fov slider
ive put my rendering distance to 2 just to see if DH is rendering anything (it isn't)
and as i said in my original message, my friend has DH too and its working for them
so i dont understand why it isnt for me
i dont know how/why but its kinda working but what are these?

Distant Generation doesn't work in multiplayer, meaning DH won't be able to generate LODs for chunks outside the vanilla render distance.
Instead, as you travel around the world, LODs will be generated for areas you've visited.
In the next update, DH 2.3, you will be able to add DH to your server granted it's running a compatible mod/plugin loader (Fabric, (Neo)Forge, Bukkit and their derivatives). This will allow the server to generate LODs and send them to the client, making distant generation possible on multiplayer.

Keep in mind that this build is still experimental, we do not encourage using it on large servers until further testing.

do i need to regenerate chunks, etc myself so that DH properly works
plus its not rendering as much as it was prior to me using this version
Umm to summarise:
DH 2.2 can't generate distant LODs if you are on a server. LODs generate as you travel or explore new chunks
Your friend is playing in single player so he will be able to generate distant chunks.
DH 2.3 (which hasn't released yet) will be able to generate chunks if both you and your friend have it installed
You and your friend can test DH 2.3 if you follow the instructions up abovr
Dont forget your friend also needs to have the same DH 2.3 version for it to work
