Game Crashes When Loading Distant Horizons with Shaders
My game keeps crashing when I go to use Distant Horizons with shaders on CurseForge. I am not sure what is causing this but I have provided information below.
When I go to click "Play" on CurseForge from my modpack, my Minecraft Launcher runs successfully; however, it does not actually launch the game. Once I click "Play" on the Minecraft Launcher, my PC begins launching Minecraft; however, it then crashes once the downloading bar gets to right before launching the game. If anyone can help, that would be most appreciated!

is it possible to add fancy grass to dh?
When using mods it only works for normal chunks (which makes sense).
Is there any way to use fancy grass or is the only solution to change the texture of grass blocks?...
Is there any way to remove an area previously rendered?
I have a rather large map where there is quite a lot of work in progress areas that look really messy, I take a lot of screenshots and and videos and those areas are preventing me from taking shots in that general direction.
Does DH generate LODs for pre-existing chunks while the server is running?
My question is about the generation of LODs.
Do these generate for already existing chunks by default without any player having to load them first?...
Pregenerate a Paper server without Chunky?
I've seen a lot of messages here saying to not use Chunky, but then how else am I supposed to pre-generate the world on my Paper server? The DHSupport.jar plugin doesn't seem to have any commands
Server-side mod crash
Distant Horizons Nightly Build [DistantHorizons-2.3.0-a-dev-1.21.1.jar] crashes server-side.
Weird visual glitch
Using complimentary shader, which I believe is supported by DH and constantly have this visual glitch. Anyone know of a solution?
Giant hole in the world (DH 2.3.0, Fabric 1.20.1)
Giant hole in the world that is not generating with
Pre-existing chunks
nor Features
methods (Both report 0/0 world gen tasks).
The only way to actually make the terrain generate is to trigger the chunk update.
I pre-generated a 16000x16000 area centered at 8000 8000 and the hole border is exactly at the edge of this pre-generated area (it goes along the Z=0), however later I generated additional 2000 blocks outwards so those chunks are certainly exist in the world.
Also I was generating the world on a separate game server with Noisium and FasterRandom which are not present on the client....Photon, bliss, bsl and aurora shaders aren't loading lod's or aren't shading lod's
Im using embeddium and oculus and the shaders either don't even load past my regular render distance or doesn't shade the lod chunks.
Distant Generation Question
the island breaks when it's too low detail. is there a fix?
Solution:
Advanced Options > Graphics > Render Quality > Vertical Quality : 5 (I had it at 3 before)
