Davinci Resolve can't rendor jobs av1 2160 x 3840 HD vertical
Render Job failed as the current clip couild not be processed. Has anyone ever experience this when trying to render AV1 videos vertically?
My Game capture is always off by 1% color, is this normal?
Hope someone could help me with this, I'll leave the forum post below if anyone wants more details about my issues but to summarize, no matter what settings I use, drivers etc etc on my dual pc set up obs always outputs something that's just barely off color wise, on regulars displays you could never tell but I was able to tell nearly right away on my nicer monitor, its off by <1% at worst so I'm wondering if its actually a problem or if simply running a 2 pc set up always comes with a tad bit of inaccuracy. Troubles with Streamlabs OBS picking up audio from Apple Music.exe
I've been configuring settings to properly set up my stream audio, and separate certain tracks from VODS that I don't wish to include in them. One of them obviously being copyrighted music that might get me a strike on Twitch.
For some reason, the application audio capture just doesn't pick up any sound from the Apple Music.exe application that I installed via the Microsoft store. I can't find any solutions for Streamlabs OBS in particular on Google, only OBS Studios. I did read in a youtube comment section that it IS possible to do in Streamlabs OBS however, and they recommended I come over to this discord for help, as they found help here as well....
AV1 multistreaming with A380
Currently I'm using using a 2 pc setup 13900k/4080 gaming pc and 9900k/1080 ti streaming pc, 18mbps upload. I use the elgato mk.2 capture card and goxlr for audio. Currently the 1080 ti does a good job at NVENC H.264 for twitch and record, and hevc for one youtube stream. I would like add a vertical youtube stream and use AV1 for both youtube streams. I was wondering would it be more optimal to leave the 1080 ti in the pc and continue using it for NVENC H.264 twitch/record while the A380 handles...
How Can I stream 1440p with Twitch Enhanced Brodcast
I'm trying to use the Twitch Enhanced Broadcast to strewam at 1440p resolution to twitch. My output resolution in OBS is set to 1440p, but when i go live it still says its streaming at only 1080p. And I want to use the Atum Multistream plugin with it but there is no 1440p encode that I can use with Atuim Multistream. Can I fix this some how?

Hi there, I've currently got a 2TB Samsung SSD inside my computer, and a 4TB External LaCie Rugged Mini, which I have very quickly filled up with archives of VODs + Recordings from the past few years I wanted to store locally instead of using cloud storage like I previously had been. Preferably I would like to avoid returning to cloud storage, as my upload speed can't handle the file sizes without being entirely unusable for 1-2 days.
Are there any options that would be viable for long-term reliable storage in my scenario?...
NDI is very blocky
Probably just the nature of NDI. Put in a new 2.5gbps network, NDI uses from 300-800mbps at 4k60 with various methods, OBS main out, NDI Bridge and Screen capture all yield the same result. Video Speeds Up Where Cuts Were Made (DaVinci Resolve)
I have had Davinci resolve for over a year but only used it for VERY basic editing. I have limited video editing experience and knowledge. Recently I have been using Resolve allot. I really do not know enough about it to even begin trouble-shooting this problem... if it even is one.
I do all my work on the edit page. For some reason, when I cut a clip, when the video is played it speeds up really fast for a split second where the cut was made. What causes this to occur?

Instalation of windows on empty desktop
The desktop seems to not be able to find any drivers. It does see the usb and all the files, but don’t accept it though. When trying to use an external external hard drive it keeps restarting whenever I click F1 as can be seen in the video. Have tried to reinstall the windows installation multiple times, in case it was the files having been corrupted, but it hasn’t helped the 5 times I’ve done so
Stuttering at 4K60 with AverMedia Live Gamer Ultra 2.1 and Elgato 4K X
Hello! I've been going insane the past couple of days putting these two capture cards through their paces and coming up empty on how to fix the stuttering they each seem to have.
My input source is my gaming PC with a 3080, using one of the Display Port outputs on the card (converted to HDMI). I can't use passthrough because I use a surround sound setup, which neither card can passthrough. AverMedia claims it can passthrough 5.1, but I couldn't get that working anywhere.

How to send active obs screen to a remote monitor with NDI?
I want to be able to send my active obs screen from my birds nest to a large screen tv at our snack bar. I'll be running fibre between the 2 and I'm sure I'll need a converter of some sort at the tv end. Don't know how to send from obs. Maybe I need an ndi tool? There won't be a puter at the tv end

I have the elgato 4k mk2 capture card. I'm Currently using a Wave XLR to use wave link the transfer audio from my gaming computer to my streaming computer. However, I want to stop using the Wave XLR and use motu m2 audio interface for seperate reasons from streaming (audiophile related).
How can I get audio from one point to another while also making it so stream can't listen to certain audio I want to listen to e.g Music....

I was watching this video and he recommends that you should upload h.265 1440p instead of 1080p so that youtube transcode the video to VP9 instead of AVC.
I'm currently editing CQP20 vods into h.264 1080p60 @ 50mbps . I got H.265 to work in premiere now. so I want to know what I can do to perserve as much quality as possible after youtube compress it to shit

High GPU usuage OBS w/ 4090
Hey friends. I've been having this issue with my 4090 where OBS seems to want/reserve a TON of gpu usage.
Basically with HAGS turn on OBS streams/records fine but I take a massive performance hit in games (about 20-30%). If i Turn HAGS off my performance in game is fine but OBS stutters like crazy with lots of rendering/encoding lag. I've tried a ton of shit to remedy this to no avail.
I'm on a 5950x and Windows 11. My main monitor is 4K 240hz, I then have another 4k 120hz, and a 1440p 120hz....
What do you guys think of these settings for a teleport 2 PC stream setup?

New Monitor, but can I still stream with Elgato HD 60s+?
Guys, I am changing my setup from a living room big TV setup to a office, desk and monitor setup.
I have been streaming and recording on XBOX Series X with Elgato HD 60 S+ and a Samsung 65" @ 3840/2160 60p HDMI UHD. Now of course I didn't think about any of this until right before my new monitor is going to be delivered. But I am wondering am I going to still be able to stream/record at least at 1080p 60 with my new ViewSonic VX2728J-2K? I realize that this is not a top of the line 2.1 HDMI monitor and I can not play at 1440p 120 but I think I can still play at 1080p 120.
There in lies my problem, can I still stream/record with my HD 60 S+ by setting the resolution on the monitor at 1080p 60? I have seen conflicting information but some videos say a HD 60 S+ does pass through 120hz at 1080p but still captures at 1080p 60 unofficially, and others say not supported at all. Also those videos are all at least a couple years old. I mean I was excited to try 120 even at 1080p. But I am on 60 right now anyway so worst case scenario, HOPEFULLY I can still use 1080p 60 to stream until I can get a newer HD60 X or 4k X. ...
4K X missing too many frames due to rendering lag
