nn.07 (no nationality)
haven’t seen a ton of discussion on this brand. curious about quality for the higher price point. big sale rn and have my eye on a couple items but wondering if prices will drop further
Kody Phillips
Curve jeans, waxed pants, and pockets galore. Voted "Designer to watch in 2024" by Outlander Mag last year, Kody Phillips dropped his debut collection in May and shows no signs of slowing down.
Reigning Champ
I'm a big fan of RC but I dislike the moves they have made lately (ex. moving production out of Canada). I still believe they have created excellent clothes and have continued to purchase with them.
I have multiple midweight Tees but lately I feel stuff has been going seriously downhill. They've been experimenting and one of the changes they've done is to the Coach's Pants.
The coach's pants as they were a great alternative the ABC pants from Lulu lemon with the added benefit of having zippers on the all the pockets and being water repellent. This is my go to travel pants and is fantastic in all aspects. I like it even though its not made in Canada....

Freenote Cloth
Made in California, consistently solid quality in everything I’ve tried. The sashiko CPO is especially nice, really comfortable

Colbo
An everything store in NYC with an in-house fashion label. Flowy silhouettes with natural colors and deadstock materials

Arpenteur
Contemporary interpretations of French workwear staples. Made in France with great construction and interesting fabrics.
Any Arpenteur fans here?...
Polo Ralph Lauren
If this is the first thread on PRL, I'd be very suprised.
One, if not my favorite mainstream brand currently, especially the vintage stuff. I'm curious to hear other opinions on if PRL has remained the same quality throughout the years or if they have/are dipping and are now just worth it if you want the pony logo....
The Real McCoy's
Their self stated brand ID seems to be high quality repros of mostly milsurp.
Has anyone ever bought something from them? Is their stuff good?...
Vans
Surprised to not find a discussion on the Vans brand so I thought I’d start one. They’re one of my favourites for casual streetwear/vintage-inspired clothing
Casatlantic
Anyone have experience with this brand? particularly their linen pants
I haven't found anything that compares to vintage RL yet but this brand looks promising...
Iron Heart
Pros: heavy denim
Cons: heavy burden on my wallet
Is Iron Heart worth the high retail price outside Japan? What's your experience? Does the brand have more to offer beyond insanely thick cloth?...
