The Real McCoy's
Their self stated brand ID seems to be high quality repros of mostly milsurp.
Has anyone ever bought something from them? Is their stuff good?...
Vans
Surprised to not find a discussion on the Vans brand so I thought I’d start one. They’re one of my favourites for casual streetwear/vintage-inspired clothing
Casatlantic
Anyone have experience with this brand? particularly their linen pants
I haven't found anything that compares to vintage RL yet but this brand looks promising...
Iron Heart
Pros: heavy denim
Cons: heavy burden on my wallet
Is Iron Heart worth the high retail price outside Japan? What's your experience? Does the brand have more to offer beyond insanely thick cloth?...
Nudie Jeans
What are your experiences with the brand? How is the quality of their selvage denim? Also, what are opinions of the lifetime repair guarantee?
Thomas Farthing
Pros: Really good quality and attention to details. Uses vintage inspiration for classic menswear that is hard to find (three piece tweed suits with high waisted pants, detachable collar shirts)
Cons: Quite expensive. Products are usually in low stock. Targets a specific vintage menswear niche....
Post romantic
Anyone has any kind of experience with them? I stumbled over them and really like that they do proper button down collars (i.e. ones that roll). I also feel like some of their stuff fits my aesthetic quite well.
If you ordered from them in the past, did you give them your body-measures or did you select a size preset and altered some things in the preset to better fit your build? I am thinking about ordering from them and am torn about which of the two routes to go. Giving them your full measurements obviously gives you most likely a better fit, but the amount of individual measurements leaves much room for error. Taking a preset size and altering the specs of the garment to conform with already existing shirts that you like will propably result in a less customized fit, but has the advantage of greater control over how tight or loose the shirt fits.
Do you have any experience with them and if yes how did it go?...
Husbands Paris
I am currently developing a very dangerous and unhealthy (because stuff is expensive) obsession over Husbands Paris, so I needed a place where I can shout my obsession into the void, aka the internet.
Brycelands
Pros: Love their dark western vibes.
Cons: Only way to make the pricing look acceptable is to compare them to Drakes. Also have luck finding anything secondhand.
That being said, what are the pieces from their collection you look at just to torture yourself/your bank account?...
Axel Arigato
What are your thoughts on their sneakers? How is their quality? Are they worth the price?
Theory
I don't have much experience with the brand, but they have done some collabs with Uniqlo, so maybe some people might be more familiar with them. It's mostly minimal, 'elevated basics' vibes which might not be for everyone, but the quality and comfort seem solid. I picked up one of their henleys last year and have been impressed by the softness and durability, especially given how light it is. Has anyone tried their other clothes?
Charles Tyrwhitt
Anyone have experience with these shirts? The deal they have isn’t that bad for dress shirts, recommended or no? How’s the QC on these shirts?
JPress
Looking at their indian madras short sleeve shirts anyone have experience with JPress in general? their clothing looks v nice overall
