Huckberry Brands
I've been never bought any of the Huckberry house brands like Flint & Tinder and Proof. Anyone have experience with these, particularly the Proof 72 Hour and Flint and Tinder 365 lines?

Repro M-65 Jacket and Pants for under $200 each?
Anyone have any recommendations for generally authentic (doesn't have to be perfectly identical) M-65 pants and jackets for under $200 that are a good quality? I see a number of brands out there on different sites, but returns cam be a pain and I'd like to get something I'm reasonably sure will be what I'm looking for.

Reigning Champ's Solotex Linen and Cotton
Reigning Champ has their Freshman and Sophomore pants in Solotex Cotton and their Stadium pants in Solotex Linen both listed as new. Has anyone here purchased them in these materials? I'd like to know more about them, and their site doesn't have any reviews.

Merino Shirt Recommendations
So I’d like to give a Merino shirt a shot, but there a bunch of different brands and blends, and the prices are all over the place. I’d like to get one that is preferably under $100, has enough Merino in it to get all the magical Merino-ness if it’s a blend, and is durable enough that I can treat it like a t-shirt and not like it’s silk.

Best Stores to Browse at in NYC?
I've been wanting to make an in-person visit to The Armoury, and I wanted to know what other stores like it would be worth seeing in NYC as well. It's mostly for personal education on what good styles and fabrics look like in person.

How much can a suit be altered?
From a second hand buying perspective, how extensively can a suit be altered, assuming a good tailor is doing the work? How close does it need to be to your actual measurements? I don't know how much extensive tailoring costs, but it seems like it might still be worth it for an otherwise out of price range suit.

Plain weaves vs others?
Entirely a patzer question, but to make sure I've got this right, if a suit or pair of pants is labeled as a particular type of weave, say flannel or twill, it's a plain weave, right? Any S100 to S♾️ is a plain weave, if I have this right. I ask because that seems like any easy rule follow for thrifting; no plain weave separates. Worsted wool vs worsted wool flannel vs woolen flannel (are there woolen plain weaves?) threw me off, but hopefully I've got all this sorted.

Which online only brands have you found that are worth it?
I get hit with tons of ads from various online only or primarily direct to consumer brands and outlets, and I wanted to find out if there were any that were particularly good, in terms of quality and price, vs what I would find at mall stores and department stores. General budget would be under $200 for jackets, around $150 or so for pants, and around $75 for pants. Id be willing to go higher for particularly long lasting items. I'm mostly interested heritage Americana (or whatever you'd call it - Taylor Stitch would be an example) and whatever J Crew, Banana Republic, Abercrombie & Fitch would be classified as. Any brands that people would recommend or recommend avoiding would be helpful.

Chinos mid to high rise < $150
Rise isn't something brands seem to like sharing info on, at least in the searches I've done. Any recommended brands and styles that go for less than $150 with mid to high rise and looser cuts? Jack Donnelly seems to be my best reliable option from what I've been reading on-line, but I'd prefer to go under $150 if possible. Thrifting hasn't been very successful for me, and I don't like buying second hand online. Thanks for any rec's.

What colors to avoid with dark gray and charcoal pants?
I've read these are less versatile than light and mid grays. Which colors should be avoided for shirts and jackets?

Sport coats with J Crew chinos?
Derek Guy seems pretty down on wearing a sports coat with what he called knockaround chinos, like you'd get from J Crew, Ralph Lauren, and the like. But are there are any sports coats that could work with these more casual styles of chinos and not strictly the Rota's of the fashion world?

Suit purchasing advice for very rare suit wearer
I’m long overdue for a new suit, and was thinking of getting one from SuitSupply in-person, as they seem my best bet for a suit I’d purchase for in-person that would cost between 500 and 1000. I just don’t think I’d get a good fit by using an on-line outlet. Any other pieces of advice? I was thinking a charcoal grey in wool would be the most versatile (and I just like that color more than Navy). I would have initially gone to Men’s Wearhouse, Jos. A. Banks., Nordstrom or Macy’s, but from what I’ve read, SuitSupply offers a better range of options than those, for a better price, though I have read some negative revieews of them as well. Thanks for your assistance.
