Which online only brands have you found that are worth it?
I get hit with tons of ads from various online only or primarily direct to consumer brands and outlets, and I wanted to find out if there were any that were particularly good, in terms of quality and price, vs what I would find at mall stores and department stores. General budget would be under $200 for jackets, around $150 or so for pants, and around $75 for pants. Id be willing to go higher for particularly long lasting items. I'm mostly interested heritage Americana (or whatever you'd call it - Taylor Stitch would be an example) and whatever J Crew, Banana Republic, Abercrombie & Fitch would be classified as. Any brands that people would recommend or recommend avoiding would be helpful.

They have a brick and mortar store near enough to me that I've been meaning to check out, I should really do that. Decent quality for the price?
Bronson MFG
The Uniqlo U t shirts are great blanks
Quality is a nebulous metric so dunno how I'd answer that
I feel like half their stuff is always sold out, lol
Basically just stuff that may have lasted longer or was better made than expected, or conversely didn't last as long or be as well made as you had assumed it would. It is subjective, of course, but everyone’s opinion offers a positive data point - like knowing I should check out Uniqlo and Bronson. I mostly want to avoid paying $100 for something that should have cost me 20.
If you want to pay $20 for something that retails for $100, eBay is a great online-only store. 😄

I'm just gunshy about buying used, plus finding the right fit seems tricky.
