Alden Shoes

Levi's Vintage Clothing brand/Selvedge Denim Jeans
I am in the market for some selvedge jeans, and I wanted to get some recommendations on what brands to go for. I'm mainly looking for a more elegant brand and I'm not trying to go for a diesel look. I like the Levi's 1944 pair, but I am unsure of how well LVC holds up/how high the quality is.

PRL Tyler Short vs Prospect Short
Does anyone know what the biggest differences are between the prospect short and tyler short? I know that the prospects are usually not pleated, but is there anything else different about them?
Also as a side note, are there any other vintage polo short styles to keep an eye out for?

Polo Shirts
I'm curious to hear what people recommend for polo shirts. I have tried mainly Lacoste and PRL, and I've been disappointed with fit/construction with both. I was looking at J. Press recently, especially since they have MOP buttons, but I wanted to hear other's recommendations for a classic men's polo.

Polo Ralph Lauren
If this is the first thread on PRL, I'd be very suprised.
One, if not my favorite mainstream brand currently, especially the vintage stuff. I'm curious to hear other opinions on if PRL has remained the same quality throughout the years or if they have/are dipping and are now just worth it if you want the pony logo.

Bit of an odd question, but why are there so many NWT Tyler shorts on eBay? I'm also curious if Tyler shorts are faked at all on eBay?

Brooks Brothers vs. J Press OCBD
As the title suggests, I'm curious to hear if people believe J Press is of higher quality compared to made in USA Brooks Bros.
I'm currently in the market for an American-made Ivy Prep brand, and both Brooks Bros and J Press are the contenders from what I have researched.
