Green Label Polo Ralph Lauren? (NOT LRL)
My only thought is it may be a weird version of PRL/Polo Country

Whitesville vs. Velva Sheen White 2-Pack Shirts
I have some Hanes tees that I bought from Walmart that I currently use as an undershirt sometimes, but primarily I wear them standalone

Whitesville vs. Velva Sheen White 2-Pack Shirts
Well, I'd like to wear as both. Primarily as just a usual plain white tee and as an undershirt for certain things.

Whitesville vs. Velva Sheen White 2-Pack Shirts
Because from what I've been able to see, Velva Sheen's measurements seem much closer to something like vintage Hanes which were used originally as undershirts

Whitesville vs. Velva Sheen White 2-Pack Shirts
Well I guess the question I'm getting at is Velva Sheen or Whitesville better for use as an actual undershirt as they were intended?

Whitesville vs. Velva Sheen White 2-Pack Shirts
Correct, I am talking about fit, but I wasn't talking about sizing necessarily. Everything I've seen, Whitesville is comparatively much wider by 1 to 1.5 inches from the measurements I've seen online compared to VS. I guess what I'm asking is if/how much the shoulder's shrink

Well that's not really the question I'm asking

Whitesville vs. Velva Sheen White 2-Pack Shirts
I see, how does Whitesville fit in the shoulders? I've seen the majority of people wearing it have slight shoulder droop which I'm not a fan of

Yeah that's another reason I like Polo trousers. True full cut. Drape is excellent as well

Yeah, I have a 30/32 inseam and usually when I find my waist size, the inseam is like 27-29" which is also suboptimal. I just got tired of the hassle and bought two pair new from Polo that are high waisted

I would prefer to go for vintage but I have an athletic build and a waist of 30" for andrews and anything with a 11+" rise, and most Polo clients in the 70s-2000s were not as skinny as I was, so finding good condition trousers in my size is a hunt

100%, and Ralph Lauren himself even admitted that an interview (not directly, of course) that he tries to encapsulate what x person would wear and try to replicate it in his clothing brand. Though if you talk to many of the era like Dick Press, Polo in the 60s through the 80s/ early 90s primarily focused on old school Americana Prep with a more modern and flamboyant take compared to what the other big names like Brooks Bros and J Press were putting out at the time. I think now with the rise of Purple Label, RRL and such, Ralph Lauren's umbrella is no longer focused on the Prep/Sloan Ranger look and now primarily targets the old money "aesthetic" with prep being reserved for a few of their heritage pieces.

I'm into trad US style which Polo does still provide in some regards, but it's very hard to find trad pieces from them without it being too costume-y

I'm a big Polo guy for more of their heritage pieces, but imo the biggest issue with RL other than the prices is that a majority of what they sell give more costume energy than actual everyday garments

I didn't have an issue until their most recent batch. They switched factories and are now at the factory that also produces O'Connell's shirts. Bought a couple of new batch shirts in 15-33 and all of the collars measured 16" which is way too big
