PRL Tyler Short vs Prospect Short
Does anyone know what the biggest differences are between the prospect short and tyler short? I know that the prospects are usually not pleated, but is there anything else different about them?
Also as a side note, are there any other vintage polo short styles to keep an eye out for?

Oh damn I LITERALLY compared the two at the thrift an hour ago lol
I'm sorry but I don't really remember the difference. I think prospects hem were a touch smaller
Maybe Tyler had pleats and prospect didn't? Once I realized the waist wasn't going to work for me, I stopped really measuring and looking

This is for pants but probably holds true for the shorts versions too
I have Tyler Shorts and they have pleats!
Tyler’s have forward pleats and a longer inseam (like 8 or 9”). Andrews are Tyler’s with a short inseam (like 5.5 or 6). Prospects are the flat front version from that era with an jnseam betweed Tyler and andrew, and iirc prospect is a slimmer version of the prospect
There are also unnamed double pleated PRL shorts as well with something.l like a 6-7” inseam. I have a pair that just says Made in USA. I think that they are the shorts corollary to the Andrews precursor.
