Polo Shirts

I'm curious to hear what people recommend for polo shirts. I have tried mainly Lacoste and PRL, and I've been disappointed with fit/construction with both. I was looking at J. Press recently, especially since they have MOP buttons, but I wanted to hear other's recommendations for a classic men's polo.

Press' are nice, a little bit baggy if that's your thing or if you can fit those well. I like BB's, they have a good price point where they're not super nice so you won't waste a ton of money but they're good quality

Never had a Lacoste one, but yes like the Polo classic. Pretty much just a straight box. Think they might have a trim fit now though

Sunspel, very well made but fairly expensive

I went and saw them in person, was very disappointed. Their regular pique knit one was the one I was most interested in, and it was way too thin for my liking

Good to know. I only have a long-sleeve Riviera polo, but I do like it. I prefer its structured collar to some of my other polos

I did like the feel and thickness of the Riviera, but it was too modern-looking for my liking.

I get that. I still need to see the short sleeve version up close

It's 100% worth the price. Construction is excellent, just too thin imo
