Surprised to not find a discussion on the Vans brand so I thought I’d start one. They’re one of my favourites for casual streetwear/vintage-inspired clothing

Very common here in the UK. I like something more chunky myself
the more shoes i work my way through, the more i appreciate my vans. gutted that they shut down vault, OTW doesn't do much for me

i’ve been eyeing a bunch of their shoes besides the basics
namely they have these green cord lows that i crave for the texture
I think vans are great for shoes but in general I think it’s best to avoid clothing made by shoe companies and vice versa

I usually agree but I really enjoy the clothing that I’ve gotten from Vans. I got a really nice faded green and blue jumper which I wore most of the winter

Off the Wrack. It's a special line of sneakers they did after one of their shipments fell of a boat and was later found washed up with the seaweed
I dont really understand the brand, aside from the skater aesthetic.
Their shoes arent particularly comfortable.

My Vans arrived today. Quickly tried them on and they were very pretty comfy out of the box. I might wear them to work tomorrow. I'll try to post in #waywt

i need to find a solution to the one foot that wants to rub skin off when i’m wearing it and i can’t tell if i need thicker socks than the (mild) boot socks i was wearing or one of those stupid adhesive cushions
Had a pair of checkerboard slipons that I absolutely destroyed by wearing everywhere, kinda considering picking up another pair because they're so cheap
Those adhesive pads are actually really good
