Hey! 20 years old in college and need help getting started with finding and understanding clothes.
I’ve always hated I haven’t had a clue about fashion. I just wear what I got in my closet. I don’t necessarily want to stand out, but I want to look good; to know what I am doing. And spending money on something I feel so unsure about has held me back. I need help figuring out where to even start.
streetwear questions
so im creating a new wardrobe just for streetwear, rn i have bought two uniqlo t shirts (black and white) and i wanted to layer the t shirts with a zip up or hoodie, i was wondering for streetwear are taper zip ups acceptable or do we want as baggy/open as it can get?

I want the fattest wales
Revisiting this topic bc i'm ready for a another cool pair of cords. The donegal wythe's recommended to me last year were a season-long favorite.

Long-sleeve undershirts?
Just got some lovely new sweaters from O'Connell's but unfortunately I'm not used to the scratchiness of the wool. Is the solution just to tough it out? Or do people usually wear long-sleeve layers underneath? Have seen Uniqlo AIRism recommendations but trying to avoid buying clothes with plastic in them if I can. Maybe linen or some kind of thin 100% cotton layer?
Too short blazer sleeves
I reluctantly allowed a family friend to shorten the sleeves of a few of my jackets. One of them they somehow took off three times as much as needed. Is this ok for a casual look in certain contexts (without a long sleeve shirt) or is it totally screwed? Thanks.
Is this suit jacket purposefully long or (more likely) not right for me?
Trying on vintage suits, context is marriage ceremony--love the cut and fabric of this vintage Issey Miyake double breasted suit including really nice pleated trousers
But is this length too long or the intended silhouette? I know the very standard rule is to the base knuckle of the thumb--this is ~1in longer....
whats the difference (pullover & hoodie)

https://stockx.com/fear-of-god-essentials-hoodie-black
(other then the color) whats the difference between them? i dont see a difference but the first one says "pullover hoodie" and the other one is just a normal hoodie so can someone tell me what the difference is?...
Levi's Type II Relaxed vs Wrangler original Cowboy Cut Type 3 Jacket?
Hello, I'm faced with this dilemma I like both for different reasons. The Wrangler (M) feels heavier and might break in nice over time, the Levi's (Sm) fits me even in the small just not fully buttoned up.
I'm working on losing more weight, around 25-35lbs but I'd like to see which y'all think suits me better in the long term....
Help finding wide pleated trousers like these
I have been noticing that a lot of my inspo has been me getting drawn towards these wider silhouettes of trousers, I did have a go with the men’s uniqlo wide pleated trousers but imo they ain’t wide enough or the silhouette i’m looking for, are there any brands that do these type of trousers displayed in the picture?
I’m willing to look secondhand or spend anything under £100 if some brands match that price point but nothing over, thank you!...
What should I wear out?
I live in a more conservative fashion area. Trying to decide between two different outfit styles. Not either of these directly, but two styles I generally will wear.
Pinstripe pants for casual wear?
Hi, I'm very intrigued by these pinstripe pants on weekday com - see link here. Could these be worn casually, with stuff like black knit sweater, leather jacket, converse shoes and white socks? (this is my usual fit these days, I attached a photo of my clothes). Just tell me, am I overthinking it or would they look a bit ridiculous?
I'm looking to expand my pants collection as right now I'm mostly wearing a pair of blue jeans...
For context, I'm a 22 year old student....
is this shirt wearable to a party/dinner
hi, am having trouble deciding whether this is ok to wear, or is it too extra
Undercover shirt sizing conversions
Alright I’m trying to do like 5 forms of conversions here
I’m aiming to buy a shirt in a size large from undercover. Apparently Japanese sizing runs small, so typically if I wanted a US size large, I would order an XL. But undercover typically does fairly relaxed fits don’t they?

Tailoring Brands for Short Men
Hello, I’m looking for brands that sell RTW suits and sports coats that are small enough for shorter men. In terms of quality, I’m looking for something along the level / tier as The Armoury or The Anthology.
In particular I’m looking for a soft shoulder, lowish buttoning point, and medium to generous lapels.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!...
Johnstons of Elgin legit check

Shopping in Seoul?
Howdy folks I’m gonna be in Seoul next month and am pretty oblivious to the Korean fashion scene. Any shops or articles of clothing I should keep my eye out for? Especially with an eye on denim and alt-fashion. I’m willing to spend on high quality pieces but budget would be sub designer (though I’m not opposed to going and looking anyway 😈)
Sanity check - cropped trouser
I got these Margaret Howell cropped trousers recently and I can’t tell if they are good or not.
There is fabric to lengthen them a bit but maybe the high crop looks more intentional?
They feel weird to me at this length but Im not used to wearing an inseam this short so maybe it just takes some getting used to. They are definitely designed to be cropped - the model pics at the end are all variations of the same trouser

Looking for pants for thiccc booty
I have an an issue, that most pants don't really fit me and I am looking for a company that produces some that might do.
Most pants I can get are too tight around the legs and the booty and are too loose at the stomach.
My measurements (if useful to you) are 60cm legs / 82cm stomach / 102cms booty....
