Printer will not connect to WIFI all of sudden, creates RatOS hotspot instead
For context, the printer has been working for about a year with no problems. I've had similar problems with one RPi 4B+, swapped for new one, it was fine for two weeks and now the same again.
Router was set to DualBand 2.4/5 GHz initially, I tried splitting to 2.4 and 5 GHz separate networks, no luck.
Resetting Router helped just now.
But I'd like to avoid this stuff in the future. Are there any troubleshooting tips?

Is it normal to have much better results at higher temperature?
Hi, as per question. My power spectral density went up significantly when measured at heated chamber.

Moving servo shuts down octopus 1.1 board
Hi.
I have been running this for more than six months:
RPi 3a+ powered from GPIO and servo for klicky probe connected via BTouch probe connectors.
Today I upgraded to rpi 4b and I now power it directly from PSU through stepdown.
The result of this change is that everything works but as soon as the printer is expected to move 996R servo the board shuts down. This doesn't happen every time - about 1 in 2 to 5 times.
Any ideas what could have gone wrong? I've been using this servo for about half a year with no problems so far...

Changing from USB to GPIO
hi quick question: RPi is currently connected to board (Octopus 1.1 if relevant) via USB. If I want to change that to GPIO, am I able to make the changes in RatOS/mainsail/moonraker, create new firmware in RatOS and then flash the board? Or do I have to do the configurations in kiauh and create new moonraker/mainsail/klipper install?
Sorry if this is not the correct thread but it's a blend of hardware, software, klipper, ratos and maybe other topics 🙂

RPi zero 2 w - octopus 1. 1. GPIO
Hello, I planned on having the zero connected via gpio pinout. Zero powers on when I turn on the printer but when I'm I want to flash the board (http://RatOS.local/configure?step=1), ratos does not detect it.
Question: can the installation be done via gpio or is USB needed?
Q2: if yes, what could cause the problem? Assume the zero is connected correctly (5v,gnd,rx,tx). Any jumpers that should be removed or something like that?
