Recently bought leather sneakers, are my laces short? WTD?
This happened to my sneakers too because the shoes are tight when not breaking them in, over the time the shoes will becone looser and you will be able to tighten up the laces.

Is waxed jacket with no hood practical?
I already got a classic yellow raincoat from Helly Hansen, I wear it for heavy rain, and have a LL bean anorak for light rain, just hope to get some more fashionable options for cold light rain days.

Why does the fit look different from the picture?
Maybe your legs are not straight and the pants are a little bit too tight. My legs have this problem too, if the pants are too tight, the pants would have wrinkles like this. The solution is wearing looser fit pants

Sport Coat/Blazer Colors for a Capsule Wardrobe
If you ask for a true capsule wardrobe, a navy hopsack blazer and a grey tweed herringbone jacket is all you need. If you live in hot climate, a tan linen or poplin blazer would be good too.

You wardrobe is a bit too formal for a college student. Definitely need some casual shirts to wear under sweaters, dress shirts don't work for casual settings, OCBDs and chambray shirts are nice. Chamois shirts are great casual shirt too, you can also wear them as a overshirt. For mid-layer, I would get something more casual like a grey sweatshirt or ll bean norwegian sweater.

Fishtail parka in 2024
They are timeless and functional, I live in area that rain a lot in winter and spring, I have a fishtail parka that I wax it to become my raincoat.
