Difficulty [hard] - How do I combine croc boots with an outfit?
Because of a slowly healing wound on my ingrown toe-nails, I'm supposed to wear open shoes like sandals. Thing is, I live in a country where it rains 24/7, almost every day. My thought was buying crocs, since they have the widest and tallest toe box I know, not comparable even with barefoot shoes. There are a few models without holes, so I can wear them when it rains.
I'm just worried, how could I combine these, so they don't look completely hideous in my outfit? I'm going to have to wear them daily. Maybe it can even look stylish? I don't know guys, is that possible? If somebody knows how, then it's yall. Please help!
These are the ones I'm considering:

The clogs would be pretty easy to style
Just find any outfit you like with birkenstock bostons and they probably work
Lmao the boots look like those tom sachs things nike put out a while ago
You can't
Shut up dude
Stop coming into people’s threads giving unhelpful advice
If you don’t have anything worth adding to the discussion then don’t contribute!
dogshit move to both never engage with anything anyone else says and give almost universally bad advice
OP, do you have any pics of your usual style? Could be inspo pics or your own fit pics, but it would help set a foundation for suggestions!

Sorry for the negativity op there’s some pent up frustration being released here
Crocs are in rn anyways they’re cute
Simple is baggy distressed jeans and a hoodie
Just lean into the casualness, cargo pants work too
The boots are fun, I think there have been salomons and maybe collabs with/shoes from either cdg or margiela that are in this style.
Clogs like art said you might get some inspo from searching how to style Birkenstock bostons.
A baggy/wide leg pant of basically any stripe will probably work for either!
Don’t do sweats or it looks unintentional and don’t wear formal pants bc it’s a mismatch
ok yeah fine char is right go for jeans or something, a big light wash pair (like from weekday) is a good trendy wardrobe staple these days
The clogs are definitely easier to style than the boots. You can probably just look up inspo of people wearing Birkenstock Bostons and you’ll find plenty of cool looks that work with those clogs as well.
Boots are tougher, I don’t have anything for those, sorry.
Yes, clogs I think are possible, I can think of an outfit or two, but the boots are hard. I'm sure they can be turned into some sort of statement. I like the baggy jeans suggestions, what would go on top with that? Just hoodie? Or maybe one of those puffy ski winter jackets.
I don't really have a style rn, mostly out of the gut. It's just that if I were to buy these shoes, I couldn't get away with shitty styling anymore, these are either make or break.
You can do puffer but unless you’re in the southern hemisphere it might be hot
Germany, rn it's cold as shit.
Are you thinking of these
If you don’t already have a bunch of interesting silhouette puffy winter gear the boots are gonna be really hard
I’d want to lean into the weirdness, jackets with lots of bulky pockets, puffer pants
Image is blown out but you get the idea
Craig green stuff would be in the right direction too
Yes
Some weirder inspo
For the boots I think the basic formula I’d go for is baggy soft pants that are absolutely not and cannot be mistaken for sweatpants, tucked into the boots, puffy round silhouette jacket relatively short but not cropped, probably a hood or snood, a dumb techwear-gorpy bag of some kind
i actually kind of agree with the snow inspo for the boots
i will be totally deadass if you dress like you just walked off of a shuttle back from the moon colony you’d make those boots look like they belong
they’re lunarcore asf
big white puffer, white hiking pants of your choice, etc
maybe a light grey on the pants idk
or a weird blue to match the hardware on the boots. you get my drift i think
the clogs are aggressively normal at least so they’re way easier to style in ways that people have already hashed to death so i won’t be redundant about it
There are actually some great ideas, so I might even consider buying them. If I do, I 'll update yall with some pics.
