New update crashes my game
Maybe a minute after loading into my world, Dh tries to load too many LODS or something and it eats my my cpu and memory and makes my game run at 0-1fps.
Mac M1 crahs with shaders
My game crashes when i try to use shaders with DH. I've set generic rendering to false, like they said at gitlab and stil doesn't work.
Dh not loading chunks in different worlds but with the same mods and the same shaders
I'm using the photon shaders in minecraft 1.21 and version 2.2.0-a of Dh and in my survival worlds the render it's not working as shoul be as you can see, i need help pls
water lod chunks
is there a way to make the lod chunks render the same way as the real chunks shader wise
When i enable shaders, the chunks don't load but they fully do when the shader is disabled
I am using the DawnCraft mod pack via curseforge which i then install DH.
I am also still loading chunks further away but i don't think that to be the problem.
I saw people saying you old lighting in the advance graphic setting but it's not there.
Any help would be wonderful....
2.2.1 crash when swapping from 2.1.3
Swapping from 2.1.3 server fork to 2.2.1 for a server but getting a crash when starting the game as a result. I assume from what little I can find that its likely due to the forge not having an iris 1.8 equivalent but posting this to confirm. Log is attached for more information.
How config Photon Shaders with Distant Horizons ?
Hi everyone, someone can help me ?
How i config the shaders to show the distant horizon ?...
Fog between rendered chunks and LODs
I've already tried the Alex Caves fix, and I've removed the Better End Mod (I was running it through Sinytra Connector but have since deleted it) and deleted the bclib config folder.
Somehow the fog still persists. I'm currently using the latest unstable release of Iris on their server and the DH file that they claim works with it.
Attached images are the fog in question, my stripped down modlist, my Alex Caves config setting....
RAM allocation not being accurate?
Hey, im using distant horizons along with complimentary shaders unbound. I did some research on how much RAM i should allocate and i am allocating 12GB (out of 32GB), but task manager says that minecraft never uses more than 5GB of RAM. Is this normal or am i not using optimised settings to allow for DH to use all 12GB?
LODs in downloadable maps question
I want to include all the LODs in my downloadable maps and just wanted to know how to get the best quality compatibility for most people. If I build at a high quality, like very high or extreme, would that then build LODs at all lower levels so people can instantly play at lower levels? Or do I need to just pick one setting and advise people to use that too?
I want people who download my maps to not have to do any LOD building themselves so they can start playing right away.
Please ping with an answer. Thanks!...
Solution:
@Dannypan LODs are generated at all detail levels at the same time, so feel free to generate at any quality setting, as other people will still be able to select a high quality setting without needing to wait
a lot of server lag in singleplayer
i know that in sp there is a local server running but the lag and input delay is a bit annoying is there a setting i can change to make it so there is less lag
elongated LODs in the distance
for some reason distant LODs look elongated horizontally, is that how it is supposed to look like?
distant Horizons
spoils clouds , with or without shaders.
I removed the clouds in the settings of the original minecraft..
+ I wanted to find out why Oculus is not working with the new version of remote control now....
