how to get my server to make distant horizons load every generated chunks? [solved]

that's all. I just don't wanna run around in creative, trying to load everything manually

blocks with snow are weird

it's a dark structure yet the slight snow on top makes it almost entirely white, is it possible to alter it so it ignores snow covered blocks? or something to make it look better
Solution:
Had the same issue, finally found a fix. Hopefully this helps! Distant Horizons configs -> Advanced Options -> Graphics -> Render Quality -> Tint With Avoided Blocks to False...

Game crashes as soon as I'm about to load in (with shaders)

Everything works fine but as I'm about to load into my game I briefly see "Saving world" then I'm met with error code 1. Im on Forge, 1.20.1, DH 2.2.0 and Im using the 1.20.1 sodium and iris indev mods from the iris discord that they have posted under unstable releases. The shader bot says to wait for iris 1.8 and sodium 0.5.8+ but Im downloading iris 1.8 and Sodium 0.6.0, Fabric api is installed and I havent even been able to test my shader (bliss) so I dont think I have an incompatible shader...

VER 1.20.1 forge incompatibilities and visual bugs

So I've been trying to figure out various optimization mods to get both DH and another mod called epic fight to get them working together and main issue I've been encountering is just a lack of support for forge DH(understandably). To circumvent this I've been messing around with optimization mods and have found out that the latest update for Oculus for MC ver 1.20.1 doesn't seem to work with all the other mods until I degraded its version. Now it works but the shaders are only working within my render distance. Here's a list of the current mods and their versions that I used to play and get this screenshot. When turning on shaders, lines appear that stay perpindicular to where the player is facing:

Is this maybe a shader problem? DH problem? Maybe other mod problem?

tried this on multiple instances but it didnt work with shaders , it worked alone tho , so i cant give a modlist , singleplayer

Minecraft 1.21.1 + 2.20-a + Sodium Crash on world load

I've been using DH on 1.20.4 for a while now and wanted to update to 1.21.1, figured I'd give the new 2.20-a DH a try as well! However, I'm running into some issues getting it to work with shaders. When I load into any existing world or create a new world, just before it's about to render the first frame, I get a crash with nothing in the logs. I've narrowed down my mod list to just the essentials using the recommended versions of everything in the faq. I'm not even using shaders in this minimal installation, just trying to get Sodium + Iris + DH working together....

Terrible performance with DH server fork on Forge 1.20.1

I'm using DH 2.2.1 server fork and the sodium+iris betas for forge: https://discord.com/channels/774352792659820594/883067831485366304/1268783380015878144 I attached three screenshots; the first one shows the fps i get with "Enable Rendering" set to "False" in DH settings, the second screenshot shows my fps with "Enable Rendering" set to "True", and the third one shows my mod list....

1.20.1 Forge Server Crashing with DH server fork

DH 2.1.2a server mod is the only mod installed in my Forge 1.20.1 service, and it makes the service crash on every launch. Solution:
discovered that iris+sodium are built for 1.20.1 forge here: https://discord.com/channels/774352792659820594/883067831485366304/1268783380015878144 so I don't need to use old version of DH for oculus+embeddium compatibility, and thus i won't need to use that old version on the server and cause crashes...

Some water LOD chunks dont load

Im in a single player world, and even though I did load those chunks, DH doesn't load them. Also you can see in the distant there's a piece of land that's really far away and looks awful. Im running DH in default configuration.

Smoothing in DH chunks

Having this issue where DH chunks have this smoothed textures - since the server distance is only 5, this makes for a weird loading when moving around. Friend with same plugin & config on same server does not have this issue - they have texture-perfect DH chunks. Am I missing something?

Mod loaded, but there is no difference in rendering

I'm using version 2.1.2 of DH since I'm on forge with Embeddium (no shaders) on MC version 1.20.1. The mod is in the game (config is present), but it doesn't have any effect. I checked the wiki and I don't have any mentioned incompatible mods. I'm on singleplayer. What seems to be the problem?

Beacons turn invisible when too far.

Is there a limit to beacons view distance or is this an issue on my end. Im using the genuine modpack (90-100 mods, too many to list). Are there any known fixes for something like this?

Doesn't seem to save anything beyond spawn.

Details: Initially the spawn chunks were saving no matter where I went ( i could still see them ) but my chunks were moving along with me. Now chunks move with me with vanilla-expected behaviour. ...

[1.20.1] Structure Essentials incompatibility

When these two mods are installed Structure Essentials and DH will spam errors in the logs creating hundreds of thousands of entries leading to log files gigabytes in size. when i turn on distant horizons the sky just turns empty white, no sun / moon just empty or deleted.

no error message bosses of mass destruction and optifine mods multiplayer...
