Minecraft 1.21.1 + 2.20-a + Sodium Crash on world load

I've been using DH on 1.20.4 for a while now and wanted to update to 1.21.1, figured I'd give the new 2.20-a DH a try as well! However, I'm running into some issues getting it to work with shaders. When I load into any existing world or create a new world, just before it's about to render the first frame, I get a crash with nothing in the logs. I've narrowed down my mod list to just the essentials using the recommended versions of everything in the faq. I'm not even using shaders in this minimal installation, just trying to get Sodium + Iris + DH working together. Just tried removing Indium and no dice. Still get the same crash without any logs leading me to anything else. I actually tried it without Indium before, I saw there were notes saying that Indium was no longer necessary. I think my issue is a duplicate of https://discord.com/channels/881614130614767666/1277390663570161774
