Can the LODs from two maps be combined?
Strange question, I know.
I'm working on a map and I'm considering making an optional expansion for it which can be played as a standalone map - all one has to do is combine the region files into the main map.
Can this also be done with the LODs from the expansion map? Take them and combine them with the LODs of the main map? Ideally people who download my maps never have to do any LOD building themselves which is fine for each map.
Worst case scenario I make a separate SQLite file for the combined map... would rather not though!

LODs in downloadable maps question
I want to include all the LODs in my downloadable maps and just wanted to know how to get the best quality compatibility for most people. If I build at a high quality, like very high or extreme, would that then build LODs at all lower levels so people can instantly play at lower levels? Or do I need to just pick one setting and advise people to use that too?
I want people who download my maps to not have to do any LOD building themselves so they can start playing right away.

LOD building question
I use WorldPainter to make my maps. What I'd like DH to do is build LODs based on the region files which currently exist, aka the exported WorldPainter map, without creating more LODs outside of the exported area.
As far as I can see, you can only set it to build LODs within your render distance or outside it.
I'm looking for a way to build outside my render distance but only for regions already generated in .mca files so it doesn't make LODs of vanilla Minecraft unless I purposely enter it.
Is this possible?
