Random large bright patches in the distance
Every now and then I'll get these random bright patches (I assume it's to do with shadows) that either take forever to fix themselves or need a reload. How can I mitigate or stop them from showing up?
Mod list included if it helps. Minecraft 1.20.4, Fabric loader 0.15.6.

can you try without starlight and see if it still happens
you may need to explore new chunks for it to work correctly
:NODDERS:
and btw you can remove starlight anyway as its not really useful anymore
o is that so? I'll drop it then
yea mojang updated the lighting engine in 1.20
its good now
Rather than explore I'll just remove the LODs
nice one
sure
results in an hour, this is a 3k x 3k map with a height of 1024 :skullDiscord:
oof
I don't mess around when it comes to making maps lol
Still there, and also noticed it happens way more after using/turning off shaders (specifically Photon in this case)
ah i see. it that case its probably not updating the lighting correctly, or is still busy updating the lighting after turning off the shaders
the best solution would be to not turn on or off the shaders too much
i shall turn them off and on every few seconds then 🙏
fr tho thanks for answering and your help
