New update crashes my game
Maybe a minute after loading into my world, Dh tries to load too many LODS or something and it eats my my cpu and memory and makes my game run at 0-1fps.

last time this happened i got an error in chat which said that the LODS would be loaded at a lower wuality because it tries to load too many at once or something
how is this even possible
it was at like 85-95% but i have to click out of mc to get the screenshot
this has been happening since i updated
what the actual f***
and now the game crashed
i have literally never had any issues before and i used to travel through my world at 900km/h
What is your cpu load in DH's settings?
1sec gotta reboot mc
it's custom i think
it just said custom
Set it to something lower
E.g. Minimum
And wait a minute or restart the game
oh god
wont my lods look bad then
They will loag and generate slower
But all the holes should fix with time
i mean fine but i this issue isn't fron my pc since this has literally never happened before
got the same error again
loaded in with minmal
'Quality Preset' determines their quality. 'CPU Load' just determines the speed at which they load, and well, the CPU Load
/logstored
You should send your
latest.log
file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs
Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed.
After uploading the file, click on Save
and send the link. The 'Distant Horizons overloaded, too many chunks queued for updating' error is common when your MC is in a very high render distance. Try reducing it slightly and check if the CPU usage decreases
the log just says this when it crashed and nothing else
i play at 20 chunks and have always played at 20 chunks
the lod render distance is like 500
but again why is this happening after the latest update because this hasn't been an issue before
setting my cpu load to minimal didnt change anything, it just delayed the lag by a minute or two
i will jsut delete dh and install it again ig
Now I'm clueless 🙃 pls somebody else help
You would need to do the same with the DH config to achieve a full reset
.minecraft/config/DistantHorizons.toml/
To edit the config, press the button next to the FOV slider to edit the config.
The config file found in .minecraft/config/DistantHorizons.toml
ok tysm!
Delete the config and let DH create a new one
ye
Update: downgraded to 2.1.2 and now the game works perfectly
turns out the newest versions are unstable ig
Weird, very weird
ye idk
if it helps i have an i7-9700K, 32GB ram, and a 1070
What mods for world gen do you have? Or is it a map the one in your screenshot
