Try lowering the cpu load
how?
Also some of the settings for sound physics remastered
/slowgen
If it feels like LoD generation with
Distant Generator
is too slow:
Install Noisium and Faster Random, these mods optimise world generation code.
Try increasing CPU Load
in Distant Horizons settings for faster generation, but you will experience more lag spikes and stuttering due to heavier workload on CPU.
To see if Distant Generator
is really working or not:
1) Check CPU usage while in-game, using Aggressive
settings of CPU Load
. If CPU usage's hovering around 80-100%, the LoDs are generating in the background.
2) Go to DH settings > Advanced Options > Debug > Wireframe
, set Enable Debug Wireframe Rendering
and Show World Gen Queue
to True
.
Enabling both settings will show you the visualization of world gen tasks queued and working on the map (blue boxes for queued tasks, red boxes for working tasks)It's the same path
Oh
Dh settings is near the fov slider
Try increasing ram alloc to 10gb and using zgc
On jvm arguments
Hold on I'm gonna find the flags for it
my flags
o
Try disabling zgc then
You'll only need zgc for cases where you'll allocate above 16 gb afaik
do i go back to g1gc?
or whatever it is
Ye
If it still stutters use Shenandoah maybe
so now nothing is loading
and that blue line is new
Is this middle earth?
it is, and no it doesn't have server side support
thought i knew your name
Looks like the game renderer is what's causing the lag?
What the sigma
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
My mc name isn't the same as my discord name🤔
so there's another brussel sprout name out there then
in case this makes sense to anyone
going to try this sleep thing out
Unfortunately I'm not a dev, and there isn't a big red text in the log saying "LOL DH CRASHED UPDATE IT" or smth along those lines so uhh yeah
