DH saying i dont have enough space

so i join a game and i try to start DH at like 300 chunks it starts fine but then i play the game for a sec and it freezes up after it stops being frozen it gives me two options one is quit to title screen and the other is quit game with the message "you either do not have enough space to run Minecraft or it is not allotted enough space. i clicked quit to title and tried to run the world though it was stuck on the load screen. if someone would help me trouble shoot over a vc i would really appreciate it...

Weird shader thing

When i turn on shaders this effect shows up it disappears when i turn shaders off

Shader isn't being applied to LOD blocks

Hi! Sorry if this is a common question. I've gotten Distant Horizons, Sodium, and Oculus to interact without crashing or showing obvious visual artifacts, but I'm having trouble getting the shader to apply to blocks outside vanilla render distance. Do I need to update mods or make changes to settings? DH version: 2.1.2a Embeddium version: 0.3.31 Oculus version: 1.7.0...

Spent the better part of a day on DH + Shaders on Mac with no success.

I'm currently playing on a 1.21.1 client / 1.21.1 server and have followed all the prescribed step in using the most recent versions of all the recommended mods (fabric, iris, sodium). I can get DH to work or I can get shaders to work (Complimentary, etc). I cannot get both to work without the well documented "only indirect is supported with Iris" error shutting down DH. I've seen in other threads people had some success disabling indirect but cant find a place to toggle this. If I'm locked into playing on 1.21.1 am I not going to be able to get shaders to work? Also: I tried older versions of every component but none were compatible with 1.21.1. Would absolutely love to get this working on my m2 mac....

i keep getting this messege constantly and it normally goes away after i just save and quit but its annoying when im just exploring around the world and getting this messege when ever im not at my base ive tried optimising world and didnt fix it

Can't turn off DH when shaders are enabled

I'm using photon shaders. And I suppose this is the error message, but I'm not entirely sure I'm digging up my logs. The workaround is turning off shaders, then disable DH rendering, then turn shaders back on. There is a visual glitch of the water on the boundary between normal chunks and DH chunks. The DH water is way more transparent and it almost looks like its just the ocean floor....

DH crash on start with Direwolf 1.21 on Curseforge

I use fabric myself with my own little set of mods, but I tried getting DH running on my friend's instance. He's using neoforge through curseforge with the Direwolf modpack. He's also on a mac OS computer (ew I know). DH standalone works fine for him so I'm assuming it's not the OS. Any idea what could be causing compat issues with the modpack? I would thanos it but my friend isn't invested enough to do that. I tried throwing the log into chatgpt but it's ungodly long. The log itself is a whole...

Fake Chunks above DH Chunks?

Hello,I'm having an issue with generating DH chunks. As you can see from the picture, for some reason theres already pre generated chunks, but when i get close they are turned into completely different chunks. Any idea why this is happening? The only mods im using are perfomance mods and misc mods to enhance vanilla. (I do have one suspicion that it might be the Bobby mod since I used to use it before I got DH but i have long since deleted it from my mod list.) Any help is appriciated 👍 I forgot to mention that, ive tried deleting the DH chunks ( DistantHorizons.sqlite file ) and re-generating them. Same issue still applies....

Optimize FPS on a High End system

So I have seen people play this game at absurd frame rates including shaders but no matter what, since I got this game back in 2010 I could never get performance at even a fraction of what I have seen. Now I have a ton of performance and optimization mods at my disposal, while having the strongest system I have had. My specs are 7950x, 4080 Super, 32Gigs of 6000mhz ddr5 ram. WIthout shaders running distant horizons I have an average fps of 243. With shaders I sit around 90 on singleplayer but it...

replay mod rendering

I've moved the LOD files to the replay file and everything works nicely, but when i try to render it doesnt load in the LODs in the render and after the render, the world LODs in the replay also disappear.. How can i render a scene with the LODs in the render?
Solution:
oh i figured it out, you have to remove everything in replay mod's render queue and then render it.. ty everyone for your time :D

Lunarclient support

Hello, I try to setup up distant horizonts for Lunarclient (1.21.1), but I always get this error: remove "Iris Shader 1.7.3+mc1.21". I don't have any other mods downloaded and Lunarclient uses fabric as far as I am concernt.

Vram leak prolly

dumping shortlog here with no further context. Looks like I ran out of VRAM. Game was running for ~11 hours, and I was going in and out of nether portals around this time. Nvidia 3070Ti (8GB VRAM), 8GB XmX G1GC, Windows 11 23H2. DH 2.2.0a with balanced cpu preset, no other setting changes. Embeddium 0.3.30+1.20.1 / Oculus 1.6.15a, no shaders or resource packs (Modpack is Gregtech New Beginnings, which uses Create, True Darkness and BiomesoPlenty)....
