Need Help with settings.

So im running a modded server with shaders and DH, i have the mod on the server and can access the settings but i dont know how to get it to work. Im not crashing or having glitches it just doesnt seem to be working for me, im not sure if i need to adjust some settings or need another mod since i have shaders but i havent been able to figure it.

1.20.1 server weirdness rendering shaders/DH?

When I load in, I have DH working with no shaders, then I enable ComplementaryUnbound5.2.2 , 5.2.1, or 4.something, it has weird issues like this. I've tried turning shaders off then back on again as well.

Using DH with forge, Shaders wont work with DH, DH Chunks don't appear. What do I do? I am not using IRIS as I'm running a server with forge.

embeddium and oculus is a problem?

distant horizon worked perfectly fine before I added embeddium and oculus and I'm confused because I'm getting exit code -1 and I saw embeddium and oculus were compatible with the distant horizon mod so what did I do wrong?

Server doesn't start up with DH v.2.2.1 for 1.21.1

When launching a normal minecraft it all works fine and in singleplayer world too but for some reason when i put inside my fabric server it just doesn't launch yeah i made sure both client and server versions were the same. I posted the error image has i don't have anything else or logs to grab from since for a normal singleplayer all works fine...
Solution:
Distant Generation doesn't work in multiplayer, meaning DH won't be able to generate LODs for chunks outside the vanilla render distance. Instead, as you travel around the world, LODs will be generated for areas you've visited. In the next update, DH 2.3, you will be able to add DH to your server granted it's running a compatible mod/plugin loader (Fabric, (Neo)Forge, Bukkit and their derivatives). This will allow the server to generate LODs and send them to the client, making distant generation possible on multiplayer. how can I fix these holes in my LOD generation?

I'm trying to pregenerate some lods for a server in singleplayer and these holes keep showing up, if I move around towards them it creates even more holes.

Weird Interaction with Render Distance (?)

green fog appears when below ocean level. I've been looking thru my Bliss DH settings and I can't find what causes this. Sorry if this isn't DH related.. thx

Distant Horizons x Bobby

Hellooooo So I've been using Distant Horizons (client side) while playing on some servers for a while now and decided to try and add Bobby to make it look even better. The thing is, because of Bobby, DH now looks like in the screenshots below. There's a gap between what Bobby hasn't "seen" yet in the place where DH would already have loaded, and what is still visible of DH has mostly become translucent. When revisiting areas currently shown by DH, so they also get saved by Bobby, they do update normally. But the gap between Bobby and DH keeps existing until I've reached the edge of every place I've visited before and DH has LODs of. Removing Bobby just loads DH's LODs normally....
Solution:
Hole at the edge of vanilla Render Distance, especially during movement: This is caused by either vanilla terrain not loading in fast enough, or shader's incorrect overdraw prevention implementation or configuration (if you use one) Some world gen speed improvement can be found when adding these two mods, but the affect will be minor: - Noisium ...

Not Working With Forge 1.20.6

I downloaded the file from the Cure Forge forum for 1.20.6 for forge and when its dowloaded it is listen as neo-forge and will not working with my version of regular forge.I have no other mods installed atm and its just for singleplayer. When I go into Minecraft its just not listed in the mods menu. I have had other mods installed that work just fine so just confused, thanks.

Strange error after DH updates itseld

I was playing on fabric 1.20.1 but DH updated by itself and now the launcher tells me that the fabric api version needs a DH error. I'm pretty sure that DH update the fabric api mod to one for 1.21 which is stupid since I'm playing on 1.20.1 so why would you do that and break the launcher? This was not happening before DH updated itself. After changing the fabric api mod to one for 1.20.1 and DH to the latest stable version (2.2.1) it worked again. So JDK was never a problem , don't know why it was reported that way on the crash log So basically DH updated itself and broke the launcher by updating the fabric api to a newer incompatible version, which should not happen...

question about importing LOD files

I'm playing a custom map using Distant Horizons 2.3, and because the custom map is so large I sourced someone else's LOD files posted in the Discord server for the map. Inside the folder is the .sqlite file as well as another LOD folder that doesn't seem to have any clear place where it belongs. When importing just the .sqlite file into the data folder of my save DH loads the LOD chunks that were imported, allowing me to see a 14000x14000 block map in its entirety without me having to explore ch...
Solution:
nevermind I asked them and they said it was from an older format of DH

DH 1.21 LODS are above real terrain,

if this makes sense the LODS are above the regular terrain and curling down into the terrain as I load chunks
