replay mod rendering
I've moved the LOD files to the replay file and everything works nicely, but when i try to render it doesnt load in the LODs in the render and after the render, the world LODs in the replay also disappear.. How can i render a scene with the LODs in the render?

oh i figured it out, you have to remove everything in replay mod's render queue and then render it.. ty everyone for your time :D

i did say i moved the files in my previous message..
I can't tell you more than that, sorry. I've never used it
oh alright
(if anyone else knows the fix, please lmk)
This may not be your issue, but replaymod reloads the server everytime you rewind the replay or start a render- meaning, the lods will need to load again, as if you just joined the world/server. To account for this, you add dead space in the beginning of your replay (an extra 20s). That way, once the render gets to where you want the clip to start, it already had time to load in the lods and chunks, and you just edit out the first bit
Distant Generation doesn't work in multiplayer, meaning DH won't be able to generate LODs for chunks outside the vanilla render distance.
Instead, as you travel around the world, LODs will be generated for areas you've visited.
In the next update, DH 2.3, you will be able to add DH to your server granted it's running a compatible mod/plugin loader (Fabric, (Neo)Forge, Bukkit and their derivatives). This will allow the server to generate LODs and send them to the client, making distant generation possible on multiplayer.
If you wish to try 2.3 early, read everything in this thread: https://discord.com/channels/881614130614767666/1285883332768563284
Keep in mind that this build is still experimental, we do not encourage using it on large servers until further testing.
Yes
alright I'll give it a try
this didn't fix it though, its like whenever its rendering it just forgets that it has the lod file.. reentering the replay brings it back though
bumping this
