tried asking in the cav empt subreddit already to no avail, so any help is appreciated!...
shoulder arm transition always too tight
I have fairly broad shoulders and kind of fatty arms. Any solution for this . I can size up and get a suit tapered at the bottom. I went to indochino and it’s still a bit uncomfortable. Would a proper custom fit suit be able to get around this?
how do other tall skinny guys find clothes?
I recently got a nicer button up shirt but it doesnt fit right and is too baggy in the stomach and arms. I had to go with a large because of my long arms and broad shoulders. But when I get a medium, the arms are the right tightness in the biceps and stomach area is good, but the arms are too short and I cant move due to tightness in the shoulders.
how can I style this shirt/does it even suit me?
I found this shirt on depop a while ago and I really like it, but the proportions are weird. The sleeves are 3/4 and the cut is very long and baggy. It's made me wonder if it's even my size, but the shoulders fit perfectly so I think it is. I can't tuck it in because of how long it is in the back, and I don't want a bunch of extra fabric stuck in my pants. I don't know the brand but it's made of some heavy soft cotton fabric and is from Japan.
Florida - Business Casual Apparel
Hi! I live in Florida. I'm a little lost with how best to dress. Office is business casual, but i would like to maintain that in day to day.
Unfortunately, I hate the way linen wrinkles, are there any options, blends, companies i should be looking at?
Currently, I own basically nothing besides dress shoes, one dress shirt, and a tailored wool suit. Most days I'll wear a variation of chinos and a few different polos, but I would like more. Recently purchased a suede workers jacket, unsure where to start really as it's so hot walking to the car or about....
What's the modern business casual?
Like a lot of millennials, I'm hitting my professional milestones late and my styles are informed by a decade or two ago.
I have never really liked business looks, I feel absurd in them, but I'm trying to update my wardrobe for my new position and attempting to get an idea what professional business casual is these days, or at least how it diverges from where it has in recent memory.
I'm from the Midwest US and traveling through Italy currently and my wife bullied me into getting some inexpensive jackets in a brighter Island style: they were like 80% off so it made sense, but I wish I knew what I should even be dressing like before I'm making or passing on purchases my last few days here....
xtratuf boots
Does anybody have any experience with these boots? Looking for another pair of insulated winter boots
Looking at https://www.xtratuf.com/collections/ankle-deck-boot-ice/mens-ice-fleece-lined-ankle-deck-boot/AIMR000.html
And Irish setter insulated wingshooter boots. Very different boots, but knowing people experience with this smaller brand will help with decision. Ease of putting on without laces seems convenient!...
Levi’s jeans
Which style of Levi’s jeans are the one that are trendy right now? Looking for the baggy look but not like the crazy baggy jeans.
Looking to overhaul my wardrobe as a tall 36 year old.
36 yo white male, 6’5” tall, lost weight recently (now 260lbs) and all my clothes have slowly just turned to work clothes which get trashed after a couple years of use. So they are now too big or fucked up from work.
Being a tall guy, sleeve length and pants length is an ongoing issue, and if I don’t buy tall sizes, tshirts, tend to be excessively baggy and collared shirts too short in the sleeve.
The style I tend to like is outdoorsy, surfer brands and skate brands because they tend to be functional, durable and high quality. I don’t go super cheap on clothes, but I don’t want to break the bank, I would rather build a wardrobe up of high quality and long lasting clothes over time, rather than finding some cheap stuff at big name department stores to save money or spending a fortune all in one go on preferable brand named stuff. ...
Merrow Knit Sweaters?
Wondering if anyone has experience with this company & can speak on their quality? Made in USA.
Looking for some quality sweaters 100% cotton or wool in your basic universal colors for a basic bastards wardrobe. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know. Thanks....
Does this outfit work or nah?
Really bad at styling for the summer and to style in a cool/chill way for summer. Any suggestions?
Pants recommendations
So I basically only have one pair of pants I always wear with all my stuff. I really like them and am looking for something similar but not just the same. Some variation. I attached pictures of the one I always wear.
Fit inspo for Solovair lug sole tassel loafers?
Just picked up a pair and I really like them but I'm struggling to find outfits to pair them with. The chunky soles make me think a looser/straight fit pant would work best. Can I just go blue jeans with them?
fancier nights out
This is my go to. Basically my only one . Wondering if it looks good or should I look for others?
Considering brands when shopping
🤔
I've been thinking about brands somewhat. When I'm shopping for clothing, I've been generally latching towards some brands (Levi's, PRL) and I'm starting to realize that this may not be the right approach for fashion shopping, especially now that luxury brands like Burberry have become a bit more accessible on the second hand market.
At the same time, I don't usually buy from Fast Fashion. I'm trying to buy quality clothes that last, I'm not interested in throwing away clothes after a few wears.

Classier slides ?
Hey,
I really like to go out with my adidas slides but sometimes I can't wear them because they are not really "class".
I'm looking for some suggestions of slides/sandals to replace them
Thank you and have a good day 🙂...
