how do other tall skinny guys find clothes?
I recently got a nicer button up shirt but it doesnt fit right and is too baggy in the stomach and arms. I had to go with a large because of my long arms and broad shoulders. But when I get a medium, the arms are the right tightness in the biceps and stomach area is good, but the arms are too short and I cant move due to tightness in the shoulders.

not me but one of my ex's was 6'4 and 140lbs-ish, he usually just bought tall-cut shirts. size small or medium iirc

Measurements, but I am tall and skinny (6'2, 36 chest, 28 waist) and most mainstream brands make stuff that fit me.
If you're trying to buy extremely slim cuts you may have a harder time.
If you mean a dress shirt by "nicer button up" then better brands also sell by sleeve length and you should look there.
You can also get the stomach area and arms slimmed down for not too much money. My tailor charges £10 to take in the waist on a shirt, or I can do it myself in about 30 mins.
