Merrow Knit Sweaters?
Wondering if anyone has experience with this company & can speak on their quality? Made in USA.
Looking for some quality sweaters 100% cotton or wool in your basic universal colors for a basic bastards wardrobe. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know. Thanks.

Merrow is a 185 year-old family run manufacturer of premium soft goods and fine knitwear. Made in USA Knit Sweaters, Blankets and Home Goods.
for basic sweaters, I'd honestly just filter through TRR
just set Sort Price from Low to High and then plug in the color you like
you can try plugging in size, but TRR seems to just arbitrarily tag stuff with random sizes
if you need measurements to compare to, either measure your favorite sweater or compare to uniqlo measurements, since they offer item measurements now (a godsend)

if you're brave and absolutely need to have new vs secondhand, you can browse yoox. There's also the Mr. Porter sale that offers some high quality knits at the purported level of Merrow, or even for less, esp from their house brand Mr. P

I'd also add No Man Walks Alone if you like higher end knits
sign up for their newsletter, they occasionally do archive/clearance sales with solid prices
Theory is also good for knits and there's a ton on the secondhand market (grailed, ebay, poshmark, depop, therealreal, etc. Their cashmere is excellent (coming from a guy who's handled very high end cashmere as well)
Dehen is higher end but occasionally on sale, and Labour Union is also excellent and fairly affordable for their style/quality bracket https://labourunion-1986.com/collections/all-product

SNS Herning isn't very soft (british heritage wool) but not overly scratchy. Sign up for their newsletter as well, every year or so they do a big sale, there was just one recently
