xtratuf boots
Does anybody have any experience with these boots? Looking for another pair of insulated winter boots
Looking at https://www.xtratuf.com/collections/ankle-deck-boot-ice/mens-ice-fleece-lined-ankle-deck-boot/AIMR000.html
And Irish setter insulated wingshooter boots. Very different boots, but knowing people experience with this smaller brand will help with decision. Ease of putting on without laces seems convenient!

i don't have any experiennce with those deck boots in particular but i might actually consider those for this winter
i spent last winter wearing a pair of danner acadias as my deckboots and they're uh. not that kind of non-slip. but even without the fleece-lining they were warm enough on their own
Oh shit, didn’t know they had insulated ones with tread! My friend had some regular ones in summer working on a farm, he loved them at first but eventually it got too hot, they took in a lot of dirt and rocks, and were uncomfortable trudging around fields with. Lack of grip in mud. I also started a game of trying to throw small rocks in them which was quite fun. If you don’t have to deal with assholes like me, it’s for winter use AND they have grip, they look awesome.
I might pull trigger on it, will report back if I do
They do not look ventilated at all 😆, could see noninsulate ones getting hot hot as well.
Hmm. Thanks for input!!
Yeh, would be good for winter. They are very waterproof so your feet will sweat like crazy, but maybe the open tops help air them a little.
Wear wool socks is the answer
Made some nerdy resaearch. Reviews of xtratuf seem very bad for durability
