i tried a print with no fan and it seemed to actually improve quality, though there still are some issues

tried many different STLs, so its probably not that. I've tried dozens of shapers, so not that either. it occurs even with accels at 400.

It’s related not to the direction of the face, but the motion of the y axis. When I switch the slicer and reslice, the ripples go to the other side

i think it's definitly hardware related but the only part of the hardware I haven't replaced are the motors and the eva mount
