Struggling to get decent print quality
I am struggling to get decent quality prints. I recently built a VCore 3.1 with beacon probe, Rapido 2 UHF and Orbiter 2. Bed mesh is decent and first layer is almost perfect besides the fact that I can't adjust z-offset after latest release of RatOS 2.1. I have tried lowering max volumetric flow, but the printer still seems to go too fast for ASA. What is the best way to throttle the printer for testing and finding the sweet spot? At the moment my prusa slicer is only using speed values for time estimates, should that be disabled so that I enter print speeds in the slicer? Just wondering if that is what is recommended for controlling speed? I am used to printing on a Prusa MK4, so I am struggling a bit with getting my VCore 3.1 setup correctly to print as good as my MK4. Any help is highly appreciated 🙂

V-Core 3.1 not compensating for BED MESH profile
Has anyone else a problem with the compensation for uneven bed during print not happening? I have done a bed mesh, but during print the z-axis is not moving at all on the current layer, so it seems that the printer is not compensating for the bed mesh profile. It is a newly configured V-Core 3.1, so everything is default in the start print profile. Do I need to add something to START_PRINT myself in order to get the printer to compensate for the bed mesh profile? I am running RatOS 2.1. Also I have tried to change from Purgeblob to PurgeLine in my printer.cfg but for some reason it keeps doing the blob instead of the line. Hope someone can point me in the right direction. Best regards.

CANBUS running and mcu overridden but serial is restored in ratos.cfg after reboot
I have RatOS 2.1 running on a Manta M8P 2.0 with CM4 and EBB42 via CAN connection (non usb). Everything is working when i comment out this section is ratos.cfg #[mcu] #serial: /dev/btt-manta-m8p-20 In my printer.cfg I override the mcu setup with this [mcu] canbus_uuid: 7bc14b904427 Everything is working as it should, but as soon as the OS is rebooted, the mcu line that I commented out is reintroduced, and I get an error saying that serial is invalid in section MCU. Does anyone know how I can disable that the mcu/serial section in ratos.cfg is restored after a reboot? Best regards Nicki
