Fan runs at 100% no matter what
I plugged the PWM into the octopus and it behaves as it used to, even though I set it to run off the toolboard in the configurator and in the RatOS file it says its it supposed to run off of the toolboard. I guess I'll just keep it on the octopus and call it solved

Uneven texture 3.1.
I'm not blaming the STL, i mostly wanted it for troubleshooting purposes and to see if i can recreate the problem so I can try to diagnose it

Strange infill separation problem after pretty good first layer
As a side piece of advice, use some sort of bed ahesive and after your printer has put down a few layers use binder clips to hold your flexplate to the bed. I used a lot of magigoo and my print stayed stuck to the build plate but the curl was strong enough to pull the build plate off the magnet sheet.

Strange infill separation problem after pretty good first layer
I don't know what that is, but when i printed the vchonk base on my 400mm vcore 3.1 with polymaker galaxy black abs I used .89 extrusion (which is my normal extrusion) 100c bed and 240 hotend. I think I printed at 100mm/s speed. I got something like that on my top layer but that was because my part was shrinking as it printed the top layers of the base.

I'm not sure I see the wavy texture you speak of, could you share the STL so I can see what the model is supposed to look like? Mostly I just see the weirdness in the corners as the print gets taller. Which could be a pressure advance thing or the print itself is wobbling because it doesnt have a stable base to sit securely on the print bed.

External Perimeter Resonance Issues - stretching/scratching marks on outer shell
Ive had similar problems with my first 3d printer, but I don't know if it is the same problem. I think it might be fixable with pressure advance and resonance comp. My guess is as your print turns the corner the print head wiggles a bit (as resonance comp tries to fix) and the extra filament pressure in the nozzle from the deacceleration trickles out and squishes out and gets caught on the wave of the resonance(not sure if that explanation made sense, im thinking like the same principle that causes the tree branches when you have filament stringing, but in this case it is all contained in the walls of your print. I would try tightening your print head to make sure nothing is loose, tuning pressure advance and then resonance.

Printer crashes when heating bed
after observing the back of my printer when it happens I noticed it glowed on the back of the power switch. Maybe over time the heat loosened the connection. I ended up wiring the power cord straight to the power supply and now it does not restart when powering up. The fan issue was unrelated, it turns out I broke a solder connection in the shuffle.

should bed leveling be this tilted?
Thank you! That was the step I was missing. It looks like a normal bed mesh now after completing that step.
