Underextrusion?
My prints were coming out fine last week and if I print the same gcode now the top layer is always patchy. Anything I print ends up like this, ran some other flow tests and everything seems to be in order but the corners come out weird. I assume the two might be related. I'll also list some other variables I have tried to test.
Nozzle: .4, swapped to fresh one, no difference.
Flow rate: more or less makes no difference.
Temp: more or less makes no Diddy
Extruder tension: orbiter 2, tighter or looser makes no difference.
Pressure advance: on or off makes no difference.
Filament: confirmed 1.75 and different spools have similar problems.
Parts cooling: makes no difference.

Calibrate your PA, "off or on makes no difference" doesnt matter if the "on" value is bad too
I should clarify, PA values 0, 0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.04, 0.05, 0.06, 0.07, 0.08, 0.09, 0.1 did not have a noticable effect on the testing cubes. It was set to 0.02 last week when it was working great
Hmm, ok so that clears that. PID tune of the heads under 40% fan speed?
Any filament shreds in the orbiter? Possibly it's jaminng/clogging/or having a feeding issue
These lifted corners are too much temp/not enough cooling. Is part’s fan working?
would also be curious if it was set to constant 100% if it'd help
It might have been filament shreds in the orbiter? It was the only thing I didn't check and the issue seems to have resolved itself randomly without changing anything in the software.
Thats good! Im testing with tensioning the arm on the orbiter... It seems like full tight then backing off 1.5-2 full turns of the screw gives a good tension without shredding the filament nevermind had a print fail because of this lol
