Y accel wont go above 2000 - vcore 3.1 with toolhead

I recently upgraded my printer to the new ratrig toolhead with the ebb42 1.2 board, (I also have the beacon but it was fine with the beacon before the upgrade) and now my recommended Y accel wont go above 2000. Before the upgrade it was around 6000 accel. When I move the motion system around it feels smooth and stable. I've check every screw related to the Y access and I can't find anything loose. I'm not sure how to read these graphs but hopefully someone else can help

did you use new belts or trim your old ones? i found that my belts were just a little too long, and what i thought was tension through the belts was me running out of available adjustment on the belt grabber

I used the new gates belt. I did leave a lot of wiggle room on the belts, I'll try removing a notch or two at a time

I started with the belt grabber flush to the rear printed part, and the m4 bolt flush with the threaded insert of the bent grabber. I then removed as much slack as I could by hand and trimmed. Tighten from there.

Weirdly while it says y accel above 2k is not recommended the machine is still whisper quiet at 300mm 10k accel (leftmost print) and no real issues. Maybe it is a software thing. (On the right is 100mm, 3k accel, no input shaping) I guess I don't really have a problem

I have the same problem, except im caping at 2900. I know the 500 is capable of higher, so something is up

Are you running the new input shaper routine where the head travels an inch or so in an oscillating pattern, on just x or y, when running input shaping? I have a 3.1/Toolhead1/custom beacon mount, and I'm seeing a similar peakiness and noise starting at 100hz and up, which wasn't shown before the new os routines. The old input shaping routing gave me 8.5k accel on y with belt tension tuned in. Now I'm seeing a similar oddity and sub 3k accel recommendation on y. Just to be sure I'm going to rebuild the x/y motion system and see if the problem persists. Noise bursts around 100hz are usually attributed to loose parts on the Toolhead, but I also once had a mis-tightened t nut on one of the y rails generate some harmonic buzz around the 130hz range.

I'm running the newest RatOS with the newest input shaping routine. It seems that the frequency it picks is good, I just ignored the max accel it gives me.

Also getting a near identical graph on my VC4 500mm (running in just CoreXY right now). Prominent peak at ~100hz that tapers near identically to yours. I don't have the peak between 150-175hz, but otherwise very similar X is pretty much unaffected from previous input shapers
