Ironing / Steaming

How do yall approach ironing / steaming logistically? I find I struggle to get myself to do it most mornings before work / right before bed the night before & this leads to me just wearing lazy fits based on what items aren’t wrinkly from the wash. Considering doing fits for an entire week on Sundays (essentially clothes meal prep), but wondering if there’s anything anyone else does to simplify (or just tell me to suck it up)

Alden 683 Loafers - Aberdeen Last Sizing

Follow up on my secondhand loafers thread https://discord.com/channels/1116793467654381685/1318677465878499349 from last week. I think I found a pretty great deal (https://www.ebay.com/itm/186836238220?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=ZSq2UuQpRZi&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=-e2XcU0hR7m&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY) on a pair. The seller has offered me $150 - they look in great condition. Not sure if I’m missing something that is leading to this price, but looks like a bulk reseller who is trying to get them out the door I’m out of the country right now, but was planning to head to an Alden store to check out my sizes in various lasts, but don’t really want to miss out. I wear a 10.5D in Allen Edmonds Randolph Loafers & various oxfords - does anyone have an idea on sizing relative to the Aberdeen last? Research says true to size. Thanks in advance!

Secondhand Loafers

Looking at loafers (tassel & penny) through secondhand markets. Budget is about $200-300 per pair. Will be passively looking, but saving an ebay search with the following brands: Meermin, AE, Alden, Crockett & Jones, & Grant Stone. Plan to check regularly & buy if I see any decent deals Are there any others in that general price range anyone would recommend including?

London Store Recs

Will be there for the weekend for a short stint before heading to Norway. Any store recs? Likely targeting something comparable to Spier & Mackay from both a pricing / styling front. visiting friends in nyc & have a few hours to kill so going to walk around soho for a bit later, any places you’d hit? I live in another major city, so have pretty much any big chain. Menswear, basics, really whatever - nothing in particular I’m looking for. Something a la Spier & Mackay, some thrift stores, etc

Shoe Polish Guide

Is there a good video / guide for understanding the basics of shoe polish (i.e. matching browns, proper application, etc) that people recommend? I have some loafers and oxfords that are a bit scuffed up from regular wear that I’d love to freshen up, but have never actually polished a pair before. Brand Recs for Basic Pique Polos

Bought some Kent Wang polos in recent years and have been generally disappointed. I’ve run into problems with both the fabric developing holes (arm pits, just under the collar, etc) and the button holes really stretching out. Looking for recs for basic, logo-less pique polos - okay with roughly around $60-80 per. Thanks!
