stores in Soho

visiting friends in nyc & have a few hours to kill so going to walk around soho for a bit later, any places you’d hit? I live in another major city, so have pretty much any big chain. Menswear, basics, really whatever - nothing in particular I’m looking for. Something a la Spier & Mackay, some thrift stores, etc

ALD, 18 East, and Bode all have their flagship stores just outside Soho For thrifting you won't find much in Soho other than designer resale like 2nd Street, Ina, and TheRealReal Charlie wrote a helpful guide to NYC thrifting a few months ago but I don't see it on the substack anymore. I think the closest mentioned store to Soho was L Train Vintage, which is still a ~30 min walk

Not quite soho but a nice walk from there: Tokio7 is my favorite place in the city to shop for clothes.

Ditto on Noah, I feel like their stuff in particular is underwhelming online but in person is great. Store is an amazing vibe too. I’ll add Blue in Green if you’re looking for some Japanese denim and Palace for a really fun streetwear experience
