Cool, thanks! Side note but you mentioned “have to” get pants from them. Do you have a go to in the $100-200 price range that you have a better experience with? I see lots of vintage PRL in my searches that people recommend off eBay, but still trying to figure out how things truly fit based on my own measurements before ordering on ebay. In a major city, so not many constraints on accessibility

I’ve been trying to gift experiences lately rather than physical items to prioritize family memories. Last year I did ski lessons for my fam since nobody had gone before (closer to $150/pp). This year I’m going to pay for an escape room + lunch afterwards for us (closer to $75/pp). Have also done rock climbing outings

I track all my expenses in a spreadsheet and have been following a budget since I graduated college in 2018. I have categories for fixed expenses such as the gym, groceries, etc, but then have a “guilt free” category that I use for clothes, going out, sports tickets, anything at all. Helps me to be sure I’m hitting my savings/investing goals, but also doing the things I enjoy

Exchange Iron Rangers?
This is the part I had been struggling with - just not sure how impactful it’ll be in the long term, even if it bothers me short term. Their customer service chat wasn’t helpful, but I called into their phone line & they issued me a $90 credit & are letting me keep the boots. Essentially getting them for $180, so I’ll suck it up 🤷🏻♂️

Red Wing Iron Ranger Question
Did some more research and seems like the cork outsole is an older model that got switched to vibram. Ended up getting the cork outsole given the sizing availability, so was able to snag a pair for $265 or so
