Green screen help :)

I need help with my green screen, it has some spill on me and my glasses have this flickery thing going on. I've also included a screenshot of how lit up my greenscreen is. I dont have the best gear, my lighting setup includes 2 lights i got from temu (I know, I know.. its all i got) and my camera is the Logitech C920 Pro :sonicry: (Also all i got). Is there anyway i can remedy this or am i stuck with it until i can get better lighting and a better camera?

OBSs seems to buffer and make motion kinda jittery every 30 seconds.

Hi everyone. I'm running a 2 pc setup with 2 pretty powerful pcs, but I've been having an annoying issue for as long as I can remember and just never been able to resolve it. Basically, on the 2nd PC (streaming) when ever I stream or record, in motion every 30 seconds or so the motion gets kinda jittery for like 5 seconds and the returns to normal. So if I kinda pan around in a 360 motion, it'll be smooth for 30 seconds, but then the motion just goes a bit jittery for a few seconds and then returns to smooth. I'm not missing any frames due to rendering lag, but theres a definite almost "buffering" that kinda occurs. It's the sane if I just use the 2nd PC to capture the 2nd PC gameplay rather than via the gaming PC so I know it's nothing to do with the elgato 4k X.
The streaming PC has 64gb ddr4, 5900x, rtx 3090, with everything installed on my.2 gen4 ssd's. While it's not cutting edge the cpu only gets used around 2% in the obs stats window. Would anyone know what would cause this?...

Help playing a Playlist of media files

I'm trying to do a VOD replay and want to access and automatically play a Playlist of media files in OBS. Everything I'm finding is only for a single file

OBS recording settings help please

Hello, I was recommended to come here and ask, but was not exactly sure where to ask. I am streaming on Twitch, and would like to record my streams. Currently, I had some recording settings, but it would average about 1.5 GB per 5 minutes or so, and quality was noticeably degraded, but not terrible. It was suggested to me to just use Simple mode, and indistinguishable mode. The quality is better, but now I am getting about 6-7 GB for about 11 minutes. If I stream for four hours per stream or so, that seems like a lot of space. I can show current settings, or whatever is needed, but I'd like help determining the best settings to use please, for good quality, and decent file size. Thanks...

Why does virtual camera look so different than the actual camera in OBS?

In OBS the virtual camera seems to have a lot more contrast and colors are more vibrant than the actual camera selection. I'm using the exact same profiles and settings in the software for the camera. All I'm doing is switching the device in OBS itself and it looks dramatically different. Is there a reason for this?

"Control audio via OBS" on Browser source and audio monitoring issue

Bear with me. 1. I have TTS alerts set up with Tangia. It's a browser source in OBS. If I don't tick the box that says "control audio via OBS" then the audio just plays to my "Wave Link - System" audio output. However, that's also where my Game audio comes through my capture card, and I have the OBS mixer set to -13db so my game audio is properly balanced and not too loud. That's great for my game audio, but it's too quiet for the Tangia alerts. 2. So I figured I should go ahead and tick the box that says "control audio via OBS." That way I get a dedicated mixer for Tangia and I can leave the volume slider at 0db....

Few questions about ma35d

I thinking about buy one for home media server and streaming as hobby. But it's little too expensive for just buy and toying with it. I've done some reseach by my side but still there is few things I don't know or understand. 1. It support YUV420 / RGB Planar and 8 / 10 bit. H264 / H265 / AV1 on spec sheet. Then is it support AV1-RGB-10bit? And how about H265-RGB-10bit?...

Does anyone have experience with the OBSBOT Tail 2's that hasn't been sponsored?

My sony a5100 is no longer usable because the micro HDMI port is just not picking up signal and sending it to the Elgato Camlink anymore, or if it does, it stops after 5-10 seconds. I can move the cable around a bit to get it to work but since micro HDMI cables don't go all the way in I can't seem to do enough jerry rigging to get the signal to be on all the time and it REALLY ruins the flow of my stream every stream. Obviously doing tech support in the middle of streaming sucks too... I was looking on Vox's Youtube channel and I saw the recent review on the OBSBOT Tail Air's and since I use a standing desk and I do move around a lot I thought it would be a cool option to do something like that. I also have a DDR machine that I made and do cooking stuff, it all seems like it would be PERFECT. My only question would be is, would it be a better option than having just a DSLR camera? The video is sponsored so I am not 100% sure if I can trust everything he says in it (as much as I would like to, I know too many content creators unfortunately) but it looks really cool, so I didn't know if anyone else had experience with them or know of some cameras that do something similar with the moving and following you everywhere....

2 PC OBS Studio x264 - Stream Quality

Hello everyone, i watched probably most of the Adam's videos (OBS tutorials espacially) and i've been trying to get the stream as crisp as possible (always comparing video quality/pixelisation to one of the big streamers), but as it seems - im getting something wrong. Or i'm not and its just how it is. 🙂 As i'm streaming mostly to twitch (really for a bunch of my friends) and i have two decent PC's i think i can get better video than i'm getting right now. So, i'll try to explain my setup and give as many screenshots as i can and hopefully i can learn something new and set it up better. First PC (Gaming PC) is: CPU: Ryzen 9800X3D ...

6900 XT vs 2080-Ti for streaming

I have a 2080-Ti but the card is kind of doing bad with performance at 1080P, i am getting stutters and much more paired with my 9900K. So i have the option to upgrade to 6900 XT for just 100$ and selling my GPU. I am just worried if the 6900 XT will be a good one for streaming to twitch at 1080P 60 FPS or not?

OBS Studio | Aitum Multistream Bitrate

So I am following Epos's guide on how to setup OBS Studio with Aitum Multistream, and I did the step about running a stream to Twitch with Enhanced Broadcast on before doing mutistreaming so it will give me the options, but the option for 1440p's bitrate seems low. Does that mean I should do the setting sperately or should I have YouTube be my main and then go to Twitch and other platforms after?

Micro HDMI cable that fits in the Sony a5100

I am currently having the BIGGEST issue with my a5100 where mid stream the camera will just freeze. What I end up having to do is power cycling the camera, removing the dummy battery, and replugging in the elgato cam link. My feeling is more and more something like none of the cables that I have will actually go all the way into the micro HDMI port AT ALL. There is always some extra room that's there that will hang out. - I have tried to push it in with force and that REALLY worried me so I didn't want to do it a lot....

Switching from Multiple Output plugin to Aitum Multistream plugin help

Hi guys I've been using Sorayuki's Multiple Output plugin for a while now and it usually works just fine with youtube set as the main stream and twitch as the secondary going through the plugin. However i would like to test Aitum Multistream with my settings but im having a bit of trouble setting it up mostly in regards to resolutions The safe option would be to do it as i do it now. Have youtube be the main stream and then use twitch in Aitum with separate settings and just set the rescale there but as Eposvox and others recommend i would like to try and switch it around. Right now with the SoraYuki's plugin I stream to 1440P to youtube (canvas and output resolution) with HEVC and through the plugin itself 1080P to twitch H.264. Does Aitum stream with Output resolution in OBS Video tab settings or the Canvas resolution in the same area? Should I keep those both at 1440P and then in the output tab for twitch use the scaler there and put it to 1080P? And then in Aitums settings don't rescale for youtube? I can provide images needed for clarity on what im talking about. ...

Transferring a non steam game

So i have this non steam game on my pc and I was wondering can I transfer it from sd card to me in steam like a regular steam game or would it just the one file that it runs from and not the hlwhole folder for it

New Monitor / Resolution Help

I am currently using a 3440x1440 monitor and while I love ultrawide, It's a pain for twitch streaming/recording. I am looking to go to a 27" 16:9 monitor and wanted to know if using a 2k monitor will cause burry streams since it's a 2.5:1 pixel downscale to 1080p. Should I use a 4k monitor for better streams?

Source Replacer / Swapper

Okay so this HAS to be a solved issue, but I am usure of what tool I should use for this. As you can see in the image, I have a spot in this example layout where there is space for a source on screen, which gets switched out with other similarly-sized sources every so often. What I want is a system for replacing the source and swapping it out with one of the others. I have used the source toggler lua script in the past, I think, but this does not take into account priority, and is pretty limited....

Avermedia Duo, video signal showing up with red filter.

I installed an aver-media duo into my PC today. Input 2 works great with no issues, but input 1 has a red filter over any input I send into it. The pass through is working fine which makes me think it’s a software issue somewhere. Hoping someone who has ran into this could provide some feed skills. So far I’ve tried: ...
