Does anyone know why this might be the case?...C:\ cloning to new NVME did not go as expected.
So yeah I got my new ram and nvme today. The ram part went quite well with no issues. Too bad I can't say the same about the NVME. So, my intention was to clone my small 120GB C and make the 1TB nvme a "new C" and booting drive. Now, I used the software called "Macrium Reflect". I followed all the steps based on a YT tutorial, the cloning did happen HOWEVER, instead of having one new drive instead, I ended up having two cloned partitions. Meanwhile the so called H, was suppose to be the NVME. As...
OBS Camera Bug
So for some reason OBS is not allowing me to use my Logitech BRIO. Every other program including the Logitech app, Google, Discord, Webcam tester websites and more all allow the camera to work but in OBS it shows the camera as an option but won't pop up. I've been using my camera everyday in OBS prior to yesterday.

Weird OBS or possibly driver bug?
Hey all, I've been trying to figure out this issue with my stream since I updated to OBS 31. I stream on Windows.
Basically I get visual corruption sometimes randomly about 30 - 80 minutes into a stream. This has been happening since the OBS 31 update. But I don't get dropped frames or skipping/missed frames. CPU/GPU isn't at 100%, the issue also occurs in safe mode as well.
The only other thing that has changed is my drivers, which I updated. Rolling back the driver didn't seem to fix the issue....
Troubleshoot trying to run, stream and record Indiana Jones and The Great Circle.
Hey guys,
I tried to stream earlier today, and since have been trying to troubleshoot both the game Indiana Jones and The Great Circle as well as OBS.
The game acts weird, randomly running fine and then tanking down to 20fps or less regardless of my settings.

Should I use AV1 or h264 for recording on arc a380?
I record at 1440p60fps and like to use CBR cus often do I find CQP or ICQ to eat up tons and tons of storage in some clips more motion heavy clips and usually dont really look as good as just recording in CBR. For av1 which iv been using for awhile I record at 25000kbps and would it really be required to up the bitrate more to get more quality out of the h264 recorder or is it just fine as it is?
I read in some places about how you really shouldn't use AV1 at higher bitrates because the encoder loses its big bonus of really efficent encoding and is extremely similar to other encoders above around 15000kbps.
In the ss I showed from my own perception the H264 encoding seems to have these weird lines in the black compared to the av1 which has none of the lines, im not entirely sure if this would appear in actual gaming videos somehow and I'm not exactly too sure what is causing that....
M.2 PCIe NVMe Brand outside of the tested list
Just wanted to ask as long as my motherboard has a M.2 PCIe NVMe slot, does it matter if I use a product outside of the recommended and tested list of the manufacturer? Thanks kindly.
Intel 13900k, RTX 3080, Z790 Nova Wifi Mobo and G.Skill Trident 7600mhz ram
Hello so I have just upgraded to these specs in the title, I'm just wondering what would be the best way to stream without performance loss, while maintaining very good quality with my specs. I play fortnite in all low settings (performance mode) and stream single pc, should I use the nvenc encoder at 1920x1080 @ 60fps or could I stream using x264 at 1920x1080 @ 60fps at (slow preset) also if i am example could use x264 shall i use the e-cores for OBS for this to help? Specs are - CPU: Intel Core i9-13900K ( P-Cores overclocked safely and correctly to 5.4ghz) + (E-Cores overclocked safely and correctly to 4.5ghz)
GPU: EVGA RTX 3080
MOBO: Asrock Z790 Nova WiFi (motherboard is optimized in bios)
COOLER: Arctic Liquid Freezer III 280mm ARGB AIO
RAM: G.Skill Trident 7200mhz 32GB (Manually) overclocked safely and correctly to 7600mhz)...

iGPU and OBS
Hello all, I recently upgraded to a 9800x3D and this is the first CPU I’ve had that has an iGPU in probably a decade. I have a quick question regarding its use and OBS. Currently, when running OBS I take a 20-30% performance hit. Is there a way to avoid this with the iGPU? Is it as simple as running the monitor that I display OBS off of the iGPU? Would this incur Andy performance hit to cpu performance? The actual encoding would still be done on my 4090 but I was curious if having the iGPU displ...
Moving simple RAID 1 array from Intel to AMD
Does anyone have experience moving a RAID array from one platform (Intel) to another (AMD)? I'm not expecting too much trouble because it's the simplest possible setup—two identical SATA SSDs in RAID 1, but it'd be nice if I could just throw them in and tell the BIOS to keep them in an array without formatting or anything.
Best settings for Rx 6750 XT + Ryzen 5 2600
Hi, I recently got a new GPU and it's the first time I get an AMD GPU.
I'm a bit lost and finding some conflicting info online on what settings to use.
I am aware of the cpu bottleneck, but at the moment this is what I got.

Limited or Full Color Range
So for context I'm recording a Snow White VHS. Its hooked up to the Retrotink 5x and then captured by Cam Link Pro into OBS. I know for most game consoles on OBS, limited makes the most sense, but does that change on vhs captures?
First picture (Snow White Sleeping) is Full colorspace across the board (Tink, Cam, OBS)
Second picture (Dwarf Yawning) is Limited colorspace across the board (Tink, Cam, OBS)...
capture card
OBS audio gets delayed only when monitoring the audio the actual audio in recording and streams r perfectly fine im open to any input
EVGA XR1 Pro Messed Up Capture
I just bought a new EVGA XR1 Pro and the video I see from it on my monitor is normal but this is what the capture looks like in both discord and OBS. I've tried fiddling with the resolution but it doesn't seem to do anything. I'm feeding 480p video into it from a retrotink 2x pro.
Solution:
Turning on the line doubling feature on the retrotink fixed it! I'm not sure why it needed to be on but it works now!

Best HVENC settings for twitch?
Im currently running a Dual PC setup and have been wondering what are the best possible settings to get the best stream quality on Twitch using a 3070 Hvenc? bitrate - Preset - Tuning - Multipass - Lookahead ETC.. Also many people have to me to switch to 936p Bicubic for compression due to me sim racing and having fast moving objects.. I figured this was the best place to ask. Thank you!
CPU Encoding Overload With GPU Encoding
Currently using testing changing my setup to use Twitch Enhanced Streaming and Aitum Multi. And noticed I was still receiving . "Encoder Overload" errors and dropped frames during scene transitions.
((Update))
While OBS is running I see a pretty sizable CPU Utilization that will spike to 100% during certain transitions.
