Does anyone have experience with the OBSBOT Tail 2's that hasn't been sponsored?
My sony a5100 is no longer usable because the micro HDMI port is just not picking up signal and sending it to the Elgato Camlink anymore, or if it does, it stops after 5-10 seconds. I can move the cable around a bit to get it to work but since micro HDMI cables don't go all the way in I can't seem to do enough jerry rigging to get the signal to be on all the time and it REALLY ruins the flow of my stream every stream. Obviously doing tech support in the middle of streaming sucks too...
I was looking on Vox's Youtube channel and I saw the recent review on the OBSBOT Tail Air's and since I use a standing desk and I do move around a lot I thought it would be a cool option to do something like that. I also have a DDR machine that I made and do cooking stuff, it all seems like it would be PERFECT. My only question would be is, would it be a better option than having just a DSLR camera?
The video is sponsored so I am not 100% sure if I can trust everything he says in it (as much as I would like to, I know too many content creators unfortunately) but it looks really cool, so I didn't know if anyone else had experience with them or know of some cameras that do something similar with the moving and following you everywhere.

How do I restart a Youtube stream?
I noticed AFTER my stream that the Youtube part of my stream (since I am multi streaming and recording) just went to the buffering, does infinite frame drops, goes down to 320 bitrate and then stops itself.
I know that when I was using the Vertical plugin for Youtube I was able to hit the record to stop the stream and then restart it and it would be fine as long as I do it in a specific amount of time, but now that I am using Stream Elements OBS I don't see a way to do that and I can't find it anywhere on how to do it.
I stream and record 4k to youtube and stream 1080p to Twitch. My computer doesn't seem to have any issues, here's my previous log, but I don't know if it's in there:

I only have 1 preview window open but I think I am just going to have the youtube stream open on the other screen instead to potentially save resources?
This happened A LOT in the Vertical plugin so I moved Youtube stream over to the main thing because I thought it was the plugin, but that doesn't seem to be the issue. The problem is that I can't just restart it, or at least I don't know how to (Without just making a brand new stream obviously)

Custom Fitted In Ear Monitors w/ Microphone?
I have some of the WEIRDEST questions probably, but you know how those K-pop and J-pop idols have the mics coming from their ears? are those actually plugged into their In ear monitors?
1. If they do, are they actually good?
2. I would assume that they would be great noise canceling on some level or they would hear nothing but the croud. I Do know that most of the time you have someone talking into your ear when your verse is coming and doing a count down so it's a bit easier, but that's more for the headphones than the IEM. I am more concerned about the microphone in this case than the IEM.
For context:
- I am looking for something as minimalistic looking as possible. (clear,
- I am just a streamer so I am in a bedroom that's not really treated for noise deadening, there's no band or anything, I'll be moving around a bunch in a green suit all chromad out.
- I wanted to go to a lavalier (Shure MVL Lavalier + DJI Mic TX/RX) but my beard is too long so there's a lot of scratching - honestly I think this would work best if I could eliminate this problem but no one seems to have a beard my size so the only answer I have gotten from people so far is "Just cut your beard off :4HEad: "
- I have an sm7b but it's not good when you're more than a foot away or turn around completely (I'll be like 4-5 ft away at times and walking away)
- My boom mic (Synco MIC-D2 Hyper-Cardioid) is...well it's a boom mic in an untreated bedroom so there will be a ton of reverb
Do I even have any options outside of heavily EQing something?
