suit brands that might match this inspo pic
hi all, using an upcoming wedding as an excuse to maybe buy another suit. love the relaxed fit and soft beige-brown color of the suit in this pic. the closest match i've found is a j crew wool tweed suit — did take a look at spier & mackay, suitsupply, and a few other places — but curious if you guys had other recommendations of brands that might approach this look. (also, very infrequent user of this discord, if there's a channel i should post this in lmk.)

I know I need my pants adjusted, but how can I tell if I need the top? Is there a good video that I can reference to tell if the arm length is good, etc?
In the second pic I have my arms back to show the way that the suit bends on the V when done up. I thought this was probably fine, but wanted to check....

Hi! Over the summer I sort've hit a bigger style shift and now that it's cooling down I have the opportunity to try and figure out what to build for light -> heavy outwear to compliment my current direction.
I've attached some one layer fits that have long pants on but ya, would love input on shapes, colors, brands, ideas, anything really....
Spouse says this sport coat is too tight on me?
What do you guys think? She thinks it shouldn't pucker around the button and that it should lay flatter in the back? I thought it fit well but I don't know.
help with blazers?
I've always been too intimidated to purchase a blazer. There's so many "rules" out there about what makes a good blazer that I'm paralyzed by it. I feel like unless I'm spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars, any blazer I buy will look cheap to the wrong people.
See pictures. I found this $100 blazer at a retailer. I really liked the pattern and fit. The sleeves were a little loose but I figure I could get that tailored.
My intention is to wear it very casually with a black tee or turtleneck and some black jeans over winter....

Cord trouser recs
Looking for flat front mid-high to high rise regular (wide-ish to wide), straight leg mid brown corduroy trousers. Five pockets or standard trousers are fine. Looking for workwear adjacent. Double knees would be incredible but not holding my breath. I want to make a diy pair of these distressed rrl's without paying rrl prices. So Andrew is no good. A flat n' wide prl pattern would be great. Something that's widely available second hand would be ideal but open to anything.
Carhartt WIP double knee (alternatives)
Hi, I’m looking for alternatives to the Carhartt WIP double knee pants. The rivets on the front are what I’m looking for. The problem is that they are $200 CAD and I can’t try them on before I buy them. I like the pants in black and white, and I would like them to be straight fit. (Mainly I don’t want them to be really loose and baggy, like the normal Carhartt pants feel). If anyone has recommendations, I would greatly appreciate it.
