suit brands that might match this inspo pic

hi all, using an upcoming wedding as an excuse to maybe buy another suit. love the relaxed fit and soft beige-brown color of the suit in this pic. the closest match i've found is a j crew wool tweed suit — did take a look at spier & mackay, suitsupply, and a few other places — but curious if you guys had other recommendations of brands that might approach this look. (also, very infrequent user of this discord, if there's a channel i should post this in lmk.)

This just looks like a light brown linen suit. Should be relatively easy to find during the spring/summer months. However all the brands you listed (and most retailers) are now putting out their fall/winter stock so it's going to be difficult to find linen What's your budget?

you know, that's an incredibly obvious answer that completely went past me lol for the right suit i'd drop 800-900 but wouldn't hate s&m pricing (400-500) if it's doable wedding's in a week and i have suits i can wear, just using this as an excuse to look around and see if there's anything that i truly love also, it's possible i'm being overly swayed by this inspo pic's specific styling. idk if this look is as cohesive with a dress shirt rather than the camp collar polo

A week is gonna be a tough turn around for any suit unless it doesn't require alterations I'm not a huge fan of a white dress shirt under a suit without a tie. Always gives me "I just got out of the office" vibes. I think this fit works well because it's a white knit polo so it's leaning into the summer vibes of the linen suit

oh for sure. i've got a tailor who can turn something pretty quick but likeliest option is i end up using a suit i already owned. but yeah, just thinking i'd look around.

So another brand I've seen lately is Buck Mason. But again it's going to be tough to find linen this time of year

You could look around for it if you like the cut. It's from this s/s season

This one is very ivy inspired. It's a sack suit type cut. So very boxy
