What color shoes/belt?
So sorry if this is a stupid question. I know it seems simple but with some basic googling I’m actually getting a lot of conflicting answers.
What color of shoes will go better with this burgundy suit? Black? Chocolate brown? Tan?
Thanks....
Paris clothes shopping
Hello, hope this text finds you well. I am going to paris for a couple of days and would like to request your knowledge on any clothing brands that would be nice to purchase there. Any recommendations are appreciated. Please feel free to ping me
Fit check! Also, advice on buttons.
I'd like to apologise first for the poor lightning and overall capturing of the photo, I took it on the go. I played with the contrast a bit for button visibility purposes.
The jacket is a suit separate that I wish to use as a versatile dark navy blazer, mainly with gray trousers of various styles, though I wonder if a lighter gray than in the photos would be more desirable in your subjective opinions, too.
For said intent and purposes I'd like to change it's buttons to maybe under-threaded metallic gold buttons, basket-weave texture comes to mind....

Help me dress like Bach or Mozart!
I have tickets for La Valse at the NY Phil on Halloween and I plan to wear a period costume. I'd like to dress like Bach—since he is my favorite composer—but I know that it's difficult now to find clothing in the style he wore without spending a lot of money. On the other hand, I could dress like Mozart, which would be a lot easier, since 18th century costumes can be had for cheap as long as you don't mind their falling apart after one wear (I don't). Links to costumes would be highly appreciate...

Any recommendations for a quarter zip in Australia? Budget is up to $90
Hey friends! So first off, I'm in Australia, so I'm looking for brands availible here. I'd like something I can layer over "nicer" tops like turtlenecks and button downs. My clothing tends to skew quite traditional, which I'm trying to slowly break away from, and I think a quarter zip shirt or jumper is a good choice. I typically tuck my tops into my pants, and I'm really enjoying pleated pants lately, particularly wide legged pants. I'm thinking that potentially a more slim fitting quarter zip so I have the option of experimenting with tucking it into my pants as well would be nice.
I'm currently looking at the different ones on Charles Tywhitt and Uniqlo, but would love any other brand recommendations. Also interested in different fabrics; I've noticed CT has more expensive merino ones, but also cheaper cotton and even "active" ones, and I'm wondering if I should go straight for merino, or if I should try a cotton one or even a different fabric/texture.

trying to find wider leg duck cloth/duck canvas pants
i really love the wash and texture of these left field duck chinos: https://leftfieldnyc.com/collections/duck-chinos/products/enzymed-washed-olive-duck-mt-vernon-13-oz-work-uniform-chino
however after trying them on today i realized they are much too slim to comfortably fit my body. does anyone have similar pants they can point me towards?
