Most comfortable button down?
I am looking to dress a little nicer than graphic tee and sneakers, as I'm sure most of us here are.
However whenever I try on a button down I look like a 12 year old at Easter. It's too stiff and starchy and wrinkly to look casual and is not comfortable at all.
I would love for something like a flannel that is a solid color but not too warm so I can wear it any time of the year, yet I haven't found much that match this.
What would you say is the most comfortable casual button down that you can throw on whenever?

portuguese flannel makes midweight solid color flannel and twill shirts. I won't say theyre the most comfortable because thats subjective but i like mine

Untucked with jeans is pretty much always a winner as far as casualness goes
most people cant wear the same shirt year round without getting too hot or cold. you can layer over it (sweater, jacket, etc) when its colder or switch to lighter fabrics for summer, but unlikely you can have one shirt for all 4 seasons
sometimes it's a matter of getting some wear on a shirt - old oxford cloth button downs or denim shirts soften well with use but are still warm, especially when layered
An Oxford or chambray shirt would be my pick
