Cord trouser recs
Looking for flat front mid-high to high rise regular (wide-ish to wide), straight leg mid brown corduroy trousers. Five pockets or standard trousers are fine. Looking for workwear adjacent. Double knees would be incredible but not holding my breath. I want to make a diy pair of these distressed rrl's without paying rrl prices. So Andrew is no good. A flat n' wide prl pattern would be great. Something that's widely available second hand would be ideal but open to anything.

Carhartt WIP has pretty much exactly what you’re looking for.

They also do the simple pant in this corduroy, that’s without the extra workwear pockets
so close but that shade is more yellow than the dusty brown / taupe I'm daydreaming about
Also looking for black though , that might work

It’s less yellow but darker
Yes, that's the right shade. Maybe too dark but I'm open to distressing it
They can be a little tough to come across but if you can find a pair of the 90s Levi's baggy wide fit they're great
could lightly bleach , or sun bleach
Shape is great, did it come in other shades?
Probably! This is just my pair
If you soak it in a really light mixture and then rinse it out in the washer it might work?
Sun bleach would probably take forever in fall and winter
I'm looking for a project, so I expect these things to take a while to cook.
Two good leads, thanks!
You should try wearing them into the sea for a bit and seeing what happens.
People used to do that with denim, so maybe it’ll produce interesting results.
Whatever you do sounds like it'll turn out cool
Oh just for reference they're a white tab with this back patch
Prl Philip
Spotted these whilst browsing, they look a little darker than you would like but a potential option if a little expensive maybe
Monitaly is a good lead though I can go hunting
Cheers!
