persistent top layer smush
I have similar issues and it seems to be associated with Orca slicer. I tried with Prusa slicer and the top surfaces turn out just fine. Orca has this setting "Thick internal bridges". When it is checked, you can see in the sliced model, that the internal bridge below the top layer is doubled (!) in height. Switching this off seems to get rid of the problem in Bambu slicer (according to that post, I haven't tried myself) but it does not seem to change things in Orca - albeit the sliced preview changes the layer height.
I reverted to Prusa slicer ...

How good is this mesh for a V-Core 4 500
Still ... on a 500, a deviation of 0.26 - that's not bad at all. You can definitely work with that.

Well, that surely helps as long as you are using the "standard" - which is the Octopus. That does not apply for the rest of the long list of supported boards.
And to be clear, the perceived documentation shortcoming applies to the board docs - not the RatOS doc.

Thanks - but my problem is not that I do not know which corner to move. My problem is that they do not move! No matter how many bolts I loosen up and how hard I bang my profiles!

Could it be associated with sense resistor value? The old 1.x version stepper configurations do not specifiy that value. And now I see it specified in RatOs.cfg.

Well ... the first attempt failed. The behavior seems better at first, but my probe points are "drifting" away from each run to the next one. Clear indication for skipping ....

Well ... I can confirm that manually setting the current in the configurator will adap TBL,TOFF, HEND, HSTRT to correct values.

OK, I'll do the following. I stay with 2226 and change current manually. Then I'll check if TBL,TOFF, HEND, HSTRT are updated.
