The Case For/Against: Loafers - Topic of the day 2/7/25

They feel like good holiday shoes, for when you are staying in a hotel next to hot springs and wondering around cafes and restraunts and just generally chilling out. I like the suede solovair models. But really they just don't seem to be the sort of thing that fits the climate I live in or the lifestyle I live right now. Loafers feel like the sort of thing for short walks, or when you drive everywhere. They just don't look as secure as laces. I can't really comment on that for sure because I don't own any yet. I might. Eventually.
