i will upgrade to orbiter 2.5 eventually, but a couple of weeks ago i did a quick test and replaced orbiter 2 with lgx lite temporarily, but results were pretty much identical

so did you solve this in the meantime? ive upgraded to dual z, hiwin on all rails, oldham decoupler. The printer feels solid like a tank, but the layerstacking issue remains

Print layer shift effect with no layer shift

the black part has the same issue asd the "benchy line" where pressure or something builds up after a solid layer and will be visible in all walls. idk how it works exactly; but reducing wall could help ive heared. then the pressure can be reliefed in the infil i think. dont take my word for it though. to some extend this phenomenon is normal; but yours is rather extreme. please check your flowrate and rotation distance

to calibrate z offset heat your bed to the most used temp and heat the nozzle to 150~. then wait for a couple of minutes and run PROBE_CALIBRATE

ratos links to a lot of templates, thats why you cannot find it in the .cfg file. at the bottom of the printer.cfg you can do overwrites. if your xy offset is differnt than stock add somthing like: [probe] x_offset: -26 y_offset: -8

i just loosend the belts and started a print, i can barely feel any vibrations on the cantilever now, but rn its opnly leveling

Initially i thought that that could not be it, since vasemode was perfect. but thinking about it, that still could be the case since in vasemode the inperfection would be spread very evenly
