Suggestions for cashmere sweater?
Yak wool is a good alternative if you want that soft fluffy feeling. Idk how much more sustainable it is, but it’s not contributing to overgrazing (yet).
Second the merino though. I have a $100 merino cable knit that I like more than my $400 Italian cashmere sweater.

What kind of haircut is this?
I’d keep in mind that the highlights and probably some hair product are doing a lot to create that texture. My thick wavy black hair is not gonna give that effect if I get that exact cut, for example. Something else you can ask your barber about tho.

IMO merino is better as a fabric anyway. I like wearing my merino sweaters more than my ~$300 cashmere. Plus more options and looks, especially if you like chunkier cable or fisherman knits.
I have a $100 j crew cashmere, and it’s not bad - it’ll last years I’m sure - but it pills fast and idk, feels kinda weird? Like too warm and too cold at the same time?

J Crew
Just start with searching J Crew Bowery pants on eBay. Pay attention to measurements carefully, and any notes on wear. J Crew is pretty abundant. Should find something in your size, especially if you’re not very picky about pattern or specific details.

Uniqlo SUPIMA Cotton T-Shirt Alternative?
The Front general store lightweight tees have a shorter hem, I noticed. You could also go to a tailor - might be cheaper and/or faster than tracking down a brand that has exactly what you want

High rise corduroy pants!?
Plus one to eBay. I just went looking for a pair myself. Made a saved search and checked it once in a while, and got a lands end pair for $40ish. Probably could have gotten a cheaper one if I was quicker on some of the used ones I saw.

Which Field Jacket should I buy?
Might help if you share a bit more about your style and other outfits. They both look good to me so it’s a lot about taste and style

Guess I need a comparison. Does anyone know of any stores selling similar cords but pleated, in NYC?

Wide pant advice
I found higher rises sit well if they fall right above my pelvic bone, or if they’re high enough to belt above the navel. If my gut isn’t helping keep them up, it ends up pushing them down
