Been told my jeans are too skinny on me. Any recommendations for jeans/other pants to try?

I don't know how sizing works but open to suggestions!

These are definitely skinny jeans but i think thats the desired effect of this cut. Id try a regular pair or a bootcut when you get the chance at a denim shop like levis to see the exact difference Do you like them? Are you fine with them being this skinny?

I like how they feel, snug and not wrinkled but I don't like how they make my legs look thin at the bottom though. I'm gonna try the cuts at a store, thanks for the suggestions!

Another point here is about proportionality. If your sneakers read as large, it can have the effect of making skinny pants look even skinnier. Conversely, in the fit examples from Levi, they showcase skinny jeans with a low profile sneaker so there’s more visual congruity. I don’t despise the look with stronger profiled shoes, but it should be more intentional. Just something to keep in mind.

That makes a lot of sense, thank you!

The photo also looks like it’s taken wide angle which will exaggerate the proportions of the shoes fwiw

You're right, it was taken at 0.5x for the trees
