Crash during print: "Lost communication with MCU.
I have modified how the pi is powered by chaning the default dupont cables by home made one and with 2 row housing connector. USB connector is still the default one but will be changed for a right angle later. The USB-A is pluged in the Pi directly (USB3.0 port) not in the Hub as it was before. So far no issue, monitoring it for now

Octopus v1.1 not detecting
It might be because you keep the jumper on but. On other control.baords it is a momentary press button The idea is to press the boot while short press the reset and then release the boot. In most MCU this operation enable the boot mode to flash whatever you want. So try this for flashing: put the jumper on boot. Short press on reset. Flash, and while flashing remove the jumper. Then after flashing your mcu reboot in normal mode (as the boot pins are not shortened anymore). It can be detected by the pi

Part cooling fat goes to 100% "randomly"
I had the same thing just now. I think an good upgrade is to use the EBB42 with a PWM 2V 4028, rather than powering it from the control board

Cannot turn on 4028 fan with default Pin synthax
OK, Sorted now. On the JST PH2 connector, I inverted the polarity. Now I am controlling the 2pin fan via PWM on the Kraken. T0 is plugged to PA0 and T1 to PA1.
